Horrible horrible experience. I broke my wrist and went to the ER - they said I had to have surgery. They referred me to the hand to shoulder center. I called, they couldn’t get me in for an initial appointment for 3 days. They said they could not prescribe pain meds until I was seen. Ok… so after 3 days I finally get an appointment and they said they could get me in for surgery in 5 days BUT they still couldn’t prescribe pain medication. They literally wanted me to walk around with a badly broken wrist FOR 8 DAYS… I couldn’t do that due to the nature of the injury so I called indy ortho. They got me in THAT DAY, made sure I WAS NOT IN AGONIZING PAIN, and had me in surgery in 3 DAYS. Go to indy ortho - hand to shoulder is the worst experience I’ve had.

Went in as referral from my family physician for evaluation of trigger finger. Was seen quickly and dr was very informative and then gave me steroid injection for my finger. He explained everything so I am happy with my visit and his treatment.
