List of Jason Sprunger's Reviews
Very professional, truly cares and does everything possible to help diagnose and fix. Very professional and personable. Have confidence in this DR.
My father is 93 years old and has advanced prostate cancer. Dr. Sprunger operated on him on Sunday, June 7, 2020. I spoke with Dr. Sprunger before and after his surgery as due to COVID I was not allowed in the hospital with my dad. Dr. Sprunger assured me he would receive great care. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The follow-up communication with Dr. Sprunger and Riverview Hospital was terrible. After a week of attempting to get updates and receiving nothing, I decided he would receive better care at home. I reached out to Dr. Sprunger’s office three times on on Friday, June 12, 2020 and left messages beginning at 9:00 am to get his opinion. I finally received a call back from his assistant around 4:00 pm. She advised me that she “gave him the message but he probably would not call”. UNACCEPTABLE. The next day I brought my father home with hospice. He has had a great life, but deserves BETTER. 12 days post surgery and still no call. AGAIN UNACCEPTABLE!! I
Good doc
Very caring and skilled physician.
He is nice, very understanding of your concerns and answers all your questions. I went to him scared and leaving I felt confident that everything was going to be ok. Glad he is my Doctor.
During a low grade bladder cancer removal procedure, this Urologist punctured my bladder thus causing an emergency surgery by another Urologist causing hospitalization for me and many medical follow up treatments to fix this negligence. This simple procedure cost me thousands of dollars to correct. I no longer use this Urologist for my bladder care.
During a routine low grade cancer removal procedure, Dr. Sprunger perforated my bladder allowing urine/waste to enter my intestine area that necessitated emergency bladder surgery and four days of hospitalization. This negligent issue cost me several thousand dollars in medical bills to correct. Dr. Sprunger never apologized or even acknowledged his mistake to me as if it never happened. On the surface Dr. Sprunger seems to be a nice person with reasonable personality, I question his efficiency
i WON'T USE THIS UROLOGIST EVER AGAIN AS HE PUNCTURED MY BLADDER AND CAUSED MY EMERGENCY SURGERY AND HOSPITALIZATION FROM A ROUTINE LOW GRADE CANCER REMOVAL. THIS DOCTOR COST ME SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS IN MEDICAL TREATMENT TO FIX HIS NEGLIGENCE
Refused to see me after I drove all the way there. I disagreed with their policy to charge $50 if your late or don't give 24 hours notice. Their office told me on the phone it wouldn't be a problem, but when I got there. The Dr came out and gave me an attitude cause I asked him to agree to pay me if he is late or misses an appt without 24 hour notice and he told me that would never happen with an attitude and told me to find another Dr. I am tired of Drs trying to get people to agree to unreason

I have 10 Drs and this is the only one to have issue with my request to not agree to that one policy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
