Kevin A. Sonn's Online Review Report Card

I'm 29yrs old and just had both my hips replaced (THR) in March and June of 2023. Due to Avascular Necrosis (which I also have in my elbow). Dr. Sonn and his team are the absolute best! Super friendly and super caring. I highly recommend, especially if you're overweight and have been denied care from other surgeons because of your weight. Dr. Sonn took my pain away and I can walk again!! He has changed my life for the better! Dr. Sonn seemed very confident in his work. When I told him I was allergic to nickel he assured me that he trusted the equipment he uses and that I would be fine. I have had no infections or dislocations during recovery. I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am that I had Dr. Sonn as my surgeon. I could feel that he and his nurses and team were so compassionate for their patients. The first surgery I stayed the night and for the second surgery I went home same day. Thank you Dr. Sonn for taking your time and not rushing through the appts. It made me feel human again. I thought this was going to be a horrible experience being so young and all but it was actually the best experience I've ever had in healthcare. I hope down the line when I need a new replacement he will be around to help. Lastly, the office was quick to get me in every time and they were also friendly. The rehab people were patient with me and made sure I was knowledgeable about all my restrictions and how to get in and out of a car, do stairs, go to the bathroom ect Thank you again so much from the bottom of my heart!! Ps not to be a weirdo or anything but he has very pretty eyes in person haha I had to say it I'm sorry lol ☺️❤️

I was very skeptical about my need for hip replacement. I had my surgery April 27th. Three days later I feel great. I would recommend Dr. Sonn to anyone in need of this surgery. Never thought I would be anxious to have my other hip done as soon as possible. Everyone on staff was very polite. Very inviting atmosphere.

Not interested in patient care. Find a surgeon that will listen.

I can not say enough great things about Dr. Sonn and IU Hospital-Saxony. His office staff are all very polite, friendly and have excellent customer service skills. His Medical Assistant and nurses are equally as great. Kaitlin, his surgery scheduler was so helpful and punctual in getting back to me with answers to my questions and concerns. I felt the same with Dr. Sonn. I loved his bedside manner. The entire IU staff wete awesome.
