I had surgery with this doctor he didn’t fix my shoulder, the new surgeon did from Cleveland, he said the damage was already there, he could see it from the prior surgery pictures… this surgeon should of fixed it he said… please research your surgeon… don’t go thru the pain I did for 2 and half years because of not enough experience, or just neglect or he left it like that…But I am happily out of pain now… thanks to my new surgeon!

Dr Klitzman did my rotator cuff surgery... did a awesome job, he comes highly recommended him and Dr Conan Chittick. IU health services has by far the best doctors. They are thoroughly trained, I know because I’ve been to Hendricks and ezkenazi.

Dr. Klitzman is a very good doctor and person. I had bee seeing another orthopedic doctor without positive results. Dr. Klitzman gave me the right treatment and I feel better.

Dr. Klitzman is an amazing doctor with the most unprofessional,noncompassionate,rude, uncaring nurse(Brandy) that I have ever met. After 5 hours of trying to find out why a scheduled procedure wasn't being approved this person finally returns my phone calls with the opening line of "what do you want?" Then proceeds on talking down to me on the phone as if I am beneath her all the while not showing any compassion that I am in extreme pain. This person should not be in the medical field.

Dr. Klitzmans nurse Brandy is the most unprofessional, uncaring,non compassionate,rude "nurse" I have ever dealt with. How does a so called professional start a phone conversation with a patient with "what do you want"? This person has absolutely no compassion for patients and honestly in my opinion should not be in the medical field.

I'm very happy I found Dr. Klitzman! He was incredibly patient and kind with all my questions prior to surgery (of which he performed beautifully) and always had a smile ready at all my post op appts making you feel completely at ease during a difficult time. True professional.

Mr Klitzman is very unprofessional. Changed my surgery schedule without notifying me & refused to email the consent form the day prior to surgery. When questioned about schedule change, his staff say that it was due to a medical emergency, but that was a week out and changed the surgery schedule by only several hours. Really! Although he has a medical education, someone forgot to teach him respect for patients, compassion, and people skills.

Dr. Klitzman is an excellent doctor. Not only does he go above and beyond during regular office visits, but he takes a conservative approach and knows an amazing array of non-surgical methods. I worked with him closely for 10 months to resolve knee pain due to a previous knee surgery. He does not rely on residents or student doctors, so every at every appointment he met with me personally. While his non surgical methods gave me some relief, we eventually decided that surgery should be considered for a full recovery. I knew I would be in good hands with Dr. Klitzman and I can't say enough good things. After my previous surgery with a different doctor (who merely "supervised" my surgery which, unbeknownst to me, was completed by a resident with no board certification), I was in unimaginable, excruciating pain and was unable to walk without crutches/cane for 10 months afterwards. As of today, I'm less than 1 week post-op from my surgery with Dr. klitzman and, not only is the pain minimal, but I can walk unaided. Dr. Klitzman has changed my life for the better. I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing knee injury and pain.
