I posted awhile back about my mom's horrible experience with this doctor. This doctor agreed to see my mom a year ago last October even though she had no kidney or other related health issues. This doctor agreed to see my mom as a courtesy at the request of someone who was supposed to be looking out for her. She went in because she was elderly and had a broken arm from an unreported fall in a local rehab. While discussing her health issues, this doctor told her with no compassion that she should do hospice care rather than having her shoulder replaced. She was older, had arthritis, but that was it. She wanted to do the operation and go home. But, this doctor had the nerve to suggest only hospice. She was extremely saddened and disappointed in his lack of concern.

Dr O’Shaughnessy is great! He’s very personable and friendly. If you’re not familiar with different labs etc, he breaks it down so it’s very understandable.

I met with Dr. O'shaughnessy to get an insight into my concerns. He took as much time as I needed to understand what he was using to base his impressions on. I actually learned something! I will be able to read test results in the future and not be as concerned as I had been when I went into the office.

Dr. O’Shaughnessy Simply put: the best Needing renal clearance for a upcoming orthopedic surgery; I saw Dr O’Shaughnessy in a local hospital and asked if he was accepting new patients; he opened up his schedule on his phone and agreed to evaluate my renal disease within that week Diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of my renal disease state ; was complete within that sixty minute window. His history taking skill ; attention to detail and formulation of plan of care was excellent. He immediately lessened my fear with his rational explanation of my current disease state. I would refer him to anyone ! I feel grateful to have had that interaction and subsequent evaluation and treatment; by Dr O’SHAUGHNESSY; that I know will lead to improved health !

My grandmother went to see this doctor in October 2020. She had no kidney related issues and she went as a “courtesy” visit request from a relative while there, this doctor, was RUDE and CONDESCENDING toward her. He told her to not pursue a shoulder replacement. (From an unreported fall at a rehab facility) instead, he told her to pursue hospice care ONLY. She was so devastated. Once again, he health issues were arthritis and broken shoulder.she despised this doctor and how he talked down to her. Make sure you take care of your elders and never go to this doctor EVER.

I’m pleased with Dr O’shaughnessy he goes over my labs through he’s got a good personality he’s even funny! And I think he’s smart when it comes to the kidneys. The staff r not very friendly I agree with the review who said they need to learn how to treat the public
