This place changed my life i was in shambles and took everything to heart they taught me i love avenues it gave me light at the end of the tunnel now i can walk straight in life with my head held high thx for a second shot at life

Avenues is the best recovery facility in Indiana; they helped me in ways I didn't even know I needed! If your looking for a vacation this is not the place; they keep us on a tight schedule which actually does help in so many ways. We have to attend groups and yes they will hit on some raw areas BUT they will help you through what you need help with. The techs are amazing and are a lot of the reason I stayed at first; they treat you like a human being, they are funny and sarcastic. I love them! Especially Tasha, Tara, Anthony, Amy, Craig, April, Vossy, and Rosa! The nursing staff Holly, Zach, Christina, Dawn and Victoria are awesome! Facilitators like Samantha and Lee are beyond wonderful! My therapist Cayla is the bomb! My case manager Brianna was excellent. Directors Jon and Marissa care! The food ain't bad and usually you can get 2nds lol. To be honest Avenues didn't just save my life they helped me find a me I lost a long time ago! I highly recommend going if your even thinking you may have a problem!I do recommend calling them for the specifics on what you are and aren't allowed to bring. And you can't take in anything that has been opened. Just a friendly heads up! Since you took the time to Google about these places and you read this LONG review; my suggestion is GO IN THERE NOW THEY WILL HELP YOU!!! As long as you put in the work.

Avenues saved my life and gave me the pricelessgift of Recovery! I'm now at 236 days clean!!! Absolutely RECOMMEND this incredible facility to anyone struggling with addiction, and or anxiety/panic disorder like Me or any other debilitating mental health issues. A++++

Upon being a patient ask the questions before you sign up. I asked for things a another woman would to. IF YOUR COSMETICS AND PERFUME HAVE BEEN OPEN BEFORE YOU ARRIVE YOU WILL NEVER GET TO USE IT AND YOU PHONE IS TAKIN HOSTAGE UNTIL YOU LEAVE. They don't explain these things. When I wanted to leave I was told it was against the Dr's orders and not once did I see a Dr. I left and was told I can pick up my medicine from Park Center the next day. Well they told they destroyed them and I reminded them the told me to pick them up and i was they didn't say that. The employees are not experienced to even be there. One had 4yrs clean and one had 1yr clean. Think about it because you are in a hostage situation there. So now I was downtown at the bus stop with an avenues jacket he hated it and they kept his meds also. The food is still nasty?

The staff is awesome and down to earth they talk with you like a person not a junkie. The food is great and the beds are comfy. The fact you get to go out and smoke is always helpful for smokers bc we are there to get off dope not cigarettes too and it makes it easier to get your mind right. They give you a good detox time to so you can rest and get the stuff out of your body before you start having to program all day. It's in an old hospital but you don't feel confined to a hospital wing like many other places. I would recommend this place to anyone who is actually for real about getting sober and their alumni is the best at keeping in contact and actually caring I have seen Avenues is definitely made it a good experience for me to get sober there and once I went home as well and last thing the shower never got cold always hot lol.

Amazing staff that cares. They understand where I'm coming from because most are in recovery. They're willing to take their time out and actually help. We're not just a paycheck. It's a clean and safe facility. There's good food. It's a lot better than the streets. If you're really serious about it, it will help. I love this place.

I'm 59 years old. I've used drugs for 46 years and I have fought my addiction for the last 25 years, unsuccessfully. I have been to 4 previous drug treatments, of which all ended up with me still relapsing. I highly recommend, if you are serious about sobriety, coming to Avenues treatment center. The questions I have had and couldn't answer all these years I was able to get all the information and more on how to dig down inside and fix those thinking errors. I get information from everything that I've been given here. The staff here from day 1 have gone above and beyond to help me answer any questions, provide support and services that I needed. They are truly to help and want to see you succeed. They are not here just for a paycheck. They have truly been a blessing and I have changed my life. I know how to be free of my addiction and be on the winning side of this.

Coming to Avenues saved me from dying to my addiction. Avenues saved me from losing myself to my mental addiction. It gave me back the love I lost for myself, and the positivity that I had let go of. The group facilitators, therapists, case managers, techs, providers, kitchen workers, even the house keepers were ALL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Now I have the coping skills and structural habits I so desperately needed to re-gain. Plus is was actually really FUN!! More importantly I left with the LOVING SUPPORT and TRUE CONNECTIONS that will sustain me in my new life. I'll forever be grateful to Avenues!! Thank You so much!!
