Dr. Schroeder was 100% a breath of fresh air! She was so personable, attentive, informative and just all around an amazing Doctor. My husband had an accident with a weed eater and (we believe) a piece of metal unfortunately flew up and went through his eyeball. We took him to the emergency room where the nurse told us she was going to have call the optometrist to take a look. Within 10 minutes Dr. Schroeder was in our room taking such great care of him. She ended up doing surgery in his eye the same day. After surgery was over she personally called me and updated me on how it went, how to take care of him, and what to expect next. The next day she literally made room to see him during her busy day, even after hours. She was just all around amazing. I would highly recommend her to ANYONE in need of eye care!

had discussed surgery with two other ophthalmologists and was not comfortable with their description of the process during my interview of their services. I met with Dr. Schroeder and was put at ease immediately. She is fantastic. The office staff knows how to work with the insurer by using pre-certification and my cost was minimized, unlike the potential unfavorable financial outcome with the two other physicians. If need to an ophthalmologist, you will love Dr. Barbara Schoeder.

She put me in her busy schedule same day of an eye event. She always listens and always explains what is going on with my eyes. She tells me exactly how to care for whatever the problem is.. I have total confidence in what she says and does.. She is kind, considerate & caring and to my evaluation certainly knows her job!!!! She is usually on time but if something occurs that she runs behind she has the office employees come out and tell us how long the wait will be.
