List of Frank Adjei's Reviews
My first visit for my annual was positive and I wrote a glowing review. My second visit when I had health concerns, he blew off my concerns, only did partial testing, and I had to see an unrelated specialist to get the problem resolved. He refused to give me a referral. He treated me disrespectfully because I turned down a flu shot. I never get the flu. I just wanted to have help for the problem that was causing concern.
One of the best doctors I've been to, kind & patient to listen to all issues I had. Always helped no matter what questions I had for him!
I stopped going to Dr. Adjei because I had been dealing with horrible stomach pains for months. It would hurt so bad that I would have to leave work or could barely walk. It got so bad that I scheduled a visit with the doctor and left work. I couldn't even stand up straight while walking into the exam room because of the pain. After a 5 min. exam, he tells me that I have GERD and prescribes me an antacid. I told him that I knew this was not GERD but he brushed it off.I went home and the pain was getting unbearable. Nothing helped. I went to a walk-in clinic and they informed me that because I had gone to my doctor and he dismissed by him that I would have to go to the ER or wait 24 hours for insurance to cover the visit. I tried to tough it out but ended up going to the ER where they diagnosed me with inflammatory bowel disease and said that I was having a severe flare up. After I left the ER, I called Dr. Adjei's office and told them about the ER visit. He never wanted to see me for a follow-up and didn't discuss it with me at my next visit. Instead, he told me that I am obese (only based on the BMI scale) and said that all of my health issues were likely related to my weight. He does not listen to his patients even when they are in agonizing pain in front of his face.I have found a new doctor and I am so much happier.
Dr Adjei and the office staff go above and beyond!
Dr. Adjei and his staff are very patient, helpful, and friendly. I did not feel rushed during my appointments and all of my concerns were addressed. I needed a flu shot (last year and this year) and I get very nervous around needles. Dr. Adjei and his staff were very accommodating and didn't make me feel bad about my nervousness.
My son who is 29 years old was unfortunately diagnosed with a severe stomach infection and was prescribed antibiotics for 10 days. My son returned to see Dr Adjei for a followup because he was not feeling well. We understand this type of infection is very resistant to antibiotics but my son was very anxious on the 11th and 12th day and wanted another round of antibiotics or more testing. The doctor refused additional treatment and sent him home. This is the first time my son has been ill in his 29 years so he was a little paniked and the doctor would not calm his fears. The day after my son was dismissed by Dr Adjei, he was not feeling well and we recommended he go to the emergency room on Friday, 8/23. My son was hospitalized and is still there because he hadAFib with a pulse rate of 200. This doctor shows no compassion or empathy and has poor listening skills. I did not meet this doctor but have 100% trust and faith is my sons judgement and believe he was not treated with respect and kindness. I wanted it documented so that anyone considering going to see this doctor think twice and research doctor's that are known to take better care of patients. Based on the treatment of my son by his staff, I would lean toward believing they are not well trained in how to treat patients that are terrified and asking questions from a state of fear. Many hospitals are taking the time to train doctor's and nurses, etc..., to have a good bedside manner in their approach to all patients. This clinic has missed the mark! The staff at Parkview Hospital ER & Parkview Heart Institue have done an amazing job restoring our faith and my son is now in a calm state and hopefully recovering while still hospitalized.
Great
Dr. Frank is great! We love him and his staff.
I am relatively new to the area and I had been using urgent care for all my medical needs, but I knew I needed a primary care so I went to Dr. Adjei. I asked Dr. Adjei for recommendations of an ENT, a rheumatologist, and a gynaecologist in the Parkview family so I can stay within one medical group. However, he did not recommend any of the doctors I asked for, but he did give me the number to a nutritionist and the number for a weight management office since I’m obese. Now I get it, I’m young and really fat, doctors have been harassing me about it since I gained all the weight from treatment of my rheumatoid arthritis a few years back, but I came into his office with a raging ear infection and he looked at it, said it was fine, and recommended a nutritionist. I was flying back to see my family three days later and I had to fly with an ear infection (which is literally one of the most painful things I’ve ever dealt with) and go see my ENT in my home state in order to get it treated. That was beyond frustrating, but I figured I’d give him another try when I needed treatment for something. But yesterday, I got a letter in the mail from his office saying I needed a Pap smear, but gave me no name or number for a gynaecologist in the Parkview group. I knew I needed a Pap smear done, hence why I asked for a gynaecologist, but I wasn’t given the information so I have to find someone in the medical group myself. If you are overweight, pass on this doctor. That’s the only thing he’s interested in treating.
I've been a patient of Dr Adjei for almost two years. I must admit I find that he is a very good doctor. He's through and timely. I've visited his office about 4 times and have received timely and adequately care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
