List of Steven R. Eddy's Reviews
I had trigger thumb and carpal tunnel on my left hand , trigger finger and carpal tunnel on my right hand , Dr. Eddy perform surgery on both hands and it went extremely well I highly recommend him he is a awesome surgeon !!!!
Dr. Eddy was recommended by a friend. Got in quick. Dr Eddy is professional, explains things and answers questions. I like the online connection after surgery every day.
I really felt he had looked at all the data and new my case before our first meeting. He was clear and concise with my diagnosis and gave me options for treatment. He did not pressure me into surgery, but let me decide the best course of action.
It was absolutely amazing. I went to Dr. Eddy thinking I would do one hand at a time and after talking with him I went for it and done both at once. I can’t believe I played golf 11 days after surgery. He’s the best.
My first visit with Dr Eddy was quick and factual. After having a MRI, my second visit was most professional and reassuring that he knew what was the issue with my arm and there were treatment options. My third visit was just before having rotator cuff surgery. He was wonderful. After talking to him I felt so much more comfortable about what was going to occur and that he was there to help me through it. His daily emails during my first two weeks after surgery were most welcome. His quick responses to my questions made me feel like he was there following up on my daily progress—a most reassuring feeling!
I selected Dr. Eddy as a "2nd Opinion" doctor for an analysis of the pain I was experiencing in my hands/arms/inner elbows. This was due to not feeling any progress was being made from the physician that I had first visited with in the summer of 2020. Dr. Eddy made me feel valued as a patient. He knew immediately what type of pain I was experiencing. He knew what steps we should take to proceed before (we) came to a conclusion on treatment. He and his staff worked diligently to get me scheduled through each and every appointment, with respect to my schedule. In short, I am looking forward to my follow up appointment for the 1st surgical process while healing, and the scheduling of my 2nd. I could not believe the immediate feeling of some pain relief I felt within 24 hours in the area that I was having severe pain. Severe to Moderate to now Mild. 10 days out. I live out of the area and would definitely recommend this physician for the services provided. #willworkwithyou
He doesn’t care about the patient, you’re just a check. No follow up instructions after surgery. He cuts you up and sends you on your way. My hand is slow to heal but he has a “one size fits all” treatment plan for everyone even though everyone’s different. If you must use workers comp, find a different doctor.
Point blank ..🤔..if you sent to him from worker's comp you getting denied no matter what your mri and report says, I had to go to a Chicago orthopedic doctor to give me fare treatment on my right arm injury. When he said it was really nothing wrong with it he just glanced at the mri films and said it ain't nothing wrong so go back to work, in regular to hiwci feel or pain no matter what I said it didn't matter, visit lasted 5 minutes or less, thank god my claim adjuster even agreed that something is wrong from reading the mri report's and agreed to have an second opinion and also the new doctor, have some ulnar nerve damage in forearm and frew other things.. thank god my injury happened in Illinois not Indiana, because Indiana has the worst worker's compensation system ever and there doctor's are trained to trun you back to work with little or no restrictions as possible, no matter how bad your injury is the more claim he denies under workers compensation the more people workers comp sends his way...IMO..
Excellent care before and after surgery.
Doctor Eddy takes the time to explain and answer my questions about my condition and procedures himself. He didn’t turn me over to an assistant like I had with another doctor at a different practice. Which is why I left. He is a good person in addition to a great DOCTOR.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
