Dr. Metz first met with me in 2017 about my then 8 year old daughter, who was constantly sick. I had been to many doctors who rushed us out or made me think I was crazy. Dr. Metz listened to me and ran some bloodwork that showed my daughter had a VERY high TSH for thyroid. Dr. Metz followed up with us, made sure we got the care she needed, and when I moved back to the area in 2023 she also was able to get us into a pediatric endocrinologist at Riley. She really takes the time to listen, and she cares about her patients. I would recommend her to anybody and I am very happy with her care. She transformed my daughter's life (from extremely sick to very healthy) and I will always be grateful.

We have been with Dr Metz for 3 years and I wouldn’t want to see anyone else. She is an amazing listener, actively talks you through diagnosis and treatment, and also makes sure you feel good about the advice/treatment you’ve received. She has seen all of my kids from newborn twins to 14 and we couldn’t be more happy to have a provider that listens without judgement.

I think this is the first time I have ever wondered this about a Physician before... but how in the world is Mica Metz still in practice? She really needs to get a job that she actually likes. I certainly will not recommend her to friends or family.

I have been seeing Dr. Metz for a few years now and she is amazing. I decided to take my twin girls to her after having them in April and she is great with them. We even drive about 45 minutes to go to her.

Dr Metz does not follow any illness or condition for you, which I find surprising as a DO. She will refer you out to a specialist every single time. She was not compassionate and even seemed a little bored when talking to you. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Not likely to recommend. We went to Dr. Mica Metz because she was assigned by insurance. After two visits, never again. She is uncaring, rude, and condescending. Not qualities you want in someone providing care. A defense lawyer, maybe, a doctor, no way. She also seemed annoyed by questions my husband asked about his diagnosis.

Dr. Metz is attentive and patient. I have arthritis, so I'm quite thankful she's a DO. While many doctors are good, and many are kind, and some are patient- Dr. Metz is all of these. Her staff is fantastic, as well, so every aspect of my appointments is pleasant and smooth.

Dr. Metz has always come off as discourteous and, honestly, kind of rude. There are too many other good doctors out there to have to deal with one that treats you as just another number.
