I should have written one years ago. In 1914 I needed an upper GI and colonoscopy in December as we were going on a cruise to South America and Antarctica and I needed medical clearance. Dr. Murphy did not have any time left to do it before Christmas. then she said she would take the time to do it Christmas eve day. A mother with 3 children to worry about their Christmas. i will forever remember her kindness and those of her office staff. I give her 10 stars, very skilled and professional

Dr. Murphy handled my Mom's surgery this week, and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. She is intelligent, caring, and excellent with providing information and updates to patient and family members. Highly recommend her!

Dr Murphy was referred to me as a general surgeon. I found her to be dismissive, abrasive, and critical when I was expressing my concerns. I will not see her again, nor will I recommend her to another person seeking general surgery.

She did not made me feel at ease, she made me feel defensive about why I was there. I will not return. She seemed abrasive, and harsh. I expected a visit where someone would address the concerns of my family physician, and I did not feel that she took my concerns or my family physicians concerns seriously. She was very harsh.

I was lead to believe this procedure would be covered by my insurance, asked for it to be coded as routine and was told it would be. Now I have a huge bill to pay at the hospital, get your procedure from another surgeon please!
