Putnam County Hospital Pain Management Center's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment with a Rheumatologist. They cancelled it a month after scheduling it saying that the Doctor didn't want to see new patients since they were eventually leaving. After two months, they called me to schedule a new appointment, only to tell me that they don't honor co-pays on insurance and they charge you up to your full deductible. This makes no sense. If you accept my insurance as is, you should charge me how my insurance indicates, all around shady.

Brought my friend in severe pain to the ER but we had to wait like 5 minutes because no one was in the front office. Receptionist didn't cover her nose with mask.

Been in Putnam co for 20 years and generally I don't fancy this er. But I have been to prompt care twice while this pandemic has been going on, and both times they were super nice. They had a lot of good staff and helped me figure something out that's been affecting me my whole life.There will always be horror stories. But this hospital has far less than that of hospitals in Indy.Also, Hendricks county hospital tried to force me to put a mask on my 4 month adjusted baby with chronic lung disease. Putnam has never and would never.

Honestly the worst hospital I've ever been to. They take years to get to you & some of their doctors and nurses are rude and uncaring. Do not recommend this hospital at all. If you wanna be seen fast and have sweet and nice nurses all around that actually care go to IU WEST in avon. I love them.

Very poor hospital with poor staffing except for a few

I would like to tell about my experience in the emergency room a couple of months ago. I had been suffering from shoulder pain for a couple of weeks. I have known chronic shoulder problems, so I tried doctoring it at home, be the pain kept getting worse. Not wanting to go in and be seen during a pandemic (both out of concerns about me spreading it to someone or have it spread to me AND because I didn't want to burden a possibly already overburdened medical facility) I continued to try to doctor it at home but to no avail. When it got so bad that I wasn't able to sleep I called, and due to several factors it was decided that I should go to the emergency room. of course I had concerns, but I did go ahead and seek care there. I felt very safe, and Dr. Kathleen Canfield and the nurses went above and beyond in giving me the treatment that ultimately totally relieved my pain. Please pass along my thankfulness to Dr. Canfield and the ER staff.

Never will understand how anyone hire Keith Thomae.

I had an amazing experience with this hospital. I was coming in due to my horrid allergies and my severe allergic reaction. I was in tears and everyone made me feel so safe and well taken care of! The staff are friendly, the nurses are so caring and sweet, and I felt safe and comfortable! Thank you guys so much! ❤️👏🏼
