Christopher M Bohyer's Online Review Report Card

This was my first visit with Dr Bohyer. I found him to be very personable! He spent enough time with me to explain what is going on and how he plans to proceed. I feel fortunate to have met Dr. Bohyer and for him to be treating me.

I see Dr. Bohyer about once a year. Each appointment he greets me like we are old friends. Never in a rush and is so thorough. He answers all my questions and is always so kind and compassionate. His office always runs timely, too. Great bedside manner. I recommend him to family and friends. Thank you for your great care!!

Dr. Boyher is a very down to earth doctor. Very mild manner, he listens and is very thorough! I would have given him 5 stars, but I have only seen him 2 times.

Dr. Bohyer is great; knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy working with him.

My PCP referred me to Dermatology Inc to have some cherry angiomas removed. I saw a PA for literally 10 seconds who told me I needed to go to another dermatologist for laser removal. My PCP was not happy when I relayed this information to her. Then I received a bill for my co-payment against the office visit charge of $181.00. I am left wondering if maybe I should have actually seen a doctor or perhaps this office could have told my doctor's office that they did not perform laser removal when the referral was actually made...???

I love the doctor but they never answer the phone.. it is annoying

I was quite ill w/ roeacea. My doctor made my appointment, so I cannot comment on ease of getting in, but i do know it's difficult to get in to see any derma. I have a followup appointment, but have had no contact since visit. This is why I am unable to comment on those two items. Dr. Bohyer is very well credentialed, is kind and caring. He's willing to work w/ you. I cannot tollerate topicals, and he did not insist on their use. Listened to me when, because of other med issues and what appeared like butterfly rash to me, and tested for lupus even though he believes it to just be a severe case of roseaca. I trust him and hope, together, we can solve this yearly, each time more severe, occurring problem. Very nice man.

Dr. Boyher is a great doctor, but his staff is TERRIBLE. His nurse calls in the wrong prescription or does not call it in at all, and she takes 2 months to get a prior authorization. To top it off, the office staff who handles complaints also does not call back promptly when his "nurse" screws up everything. The answering machine states that if you have an emergency to call the doctor at home, yet their numbers are unlisted and they have no answering service. Unless you take time off work and drive over there, you will not the prescriptions that the doctor ordered and all communication is blocked by lack of return phone calls. The staff is so negligent, probably because it's a Medical Assistant and not even a real nurse. Sad, because I really like this doctor.
