Parkview Huntington Hospital's Online Review Report Card

I have to be honest, i was very hesitant on going to this ER. I've been here in the past. I recently moved back to the area and had a life threatening medical emergency on Saturday. We actually called ahead and told them our situation and there was literally a team waiting for me to treat me that was absolutely professional and compassionate Thank you thank you and a round of applause to all of you.

My mother has been a patient here since May 4th. She was brought by ambulance from her nursing home. She was not in good shape at all. I can't say enough wonderful things about her caregivers here. From the ER staff including Dr Tan, to Suzan, respiratory supervisor, to Amanda, Stacy, and I'm sure I will spell this wrong, Caitlin, and a couple other nurses whose names I didn't get and Dr. A, I have been impressed with the excellent care she has been receiving. They have worked to find the best solutions for her up to and including the CPap/Bipap mask that didn't make her feel like she was suffocating. Honestly, we were not sure my mother would live considering her condition. She is 1000% better. I'm thankful to God and to the wonderful staff at Parkview Huntington!

My mother was transported here from the nursing home in very critical condition. We didn't think she was going to make it. She got fantastic care here. Not only did she pull through but they helped her with some tips for what to do when she returned to the nursing home. From Stephanie, Stacy, Amanda, Rebecca, Caitlin, respiratory supervisor, Suzan, and Dr. A, the quality of her care was some of the best I've seen. They kept a pretty close eye on her. I'm sure I missed a few people to name, including Dr. Tan in the ER, but I am now quite confident this was the right place for her. Kudos to all!

I had some lab work done. The staff were very prompt and friendly and courteous.

I will never do business with them again! They are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Their billing department charged me for an emergency room level 4 (which I looked up and is reserved for complicated procedures such as MRI’s, CAT scans, and surgery) when all they did was check my temperature and offer a Tylenol for the fever. I should have refused it, saving us THOUSANDS. My husband and I were only there because the ER was the only place offering a covid infusion. We did not need emergency services, so the fact that I was charged thousands of dollars for an emergency room but my husband wasn’t, tells me they were just looking for anything to charge me more money. We called asking why I was charged and the lady literally could not make up her mind which excuse to use. Do yourself a favor and choose Lutheran or literally anywhere else!! Edit: I have reached out to them multiple times and they do not care to rectify the situation. They don’t care about you; all they care about is money.

We've always received wonderful care from Parkview Huntington for our daughter. From fevers to illnesses to stitches, everyone there has been warm, friendly, and professional.

AMAZING! Simply that. My wife and I had our baby here and we have no complaints at all. Every nurse went above and beyond durning and after labor. They eased our first time parent minds and took care of our little baby and my wife so well. Our midwife was great too. We won’t have our next child anywhere else!

Had to get blood work done this morning. The lady at the desk couldn't find me in the system. After some time she told me to go on back. Blood work went great but I was told to go back to the front desk and sign an authorization to treat form. The lady at the desk was so far behind that I just left to go to work! The guy in front of me left as well. If she is new, don't let her do this work alone. Get someone up there to show her what she is to do! I'll go back after work and sign the form!

My Mom had hip surgery and everyone treated her so well .you made my day. Thank you✌❤

We had to take our toddler in for a minor surgery. The place was clean and the nurses, anesthesiologist, and dr were all professional and extremely kind. They did a wonderful job with her. It's always nice when there's kind and patient people helping and everyone we encounterd was.
