Adapt For Life (Afl) Autism Services's Online Review Report Card

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to individuals seeking equal opportunity employment and a supportive work environment. I personally experienced and observed treatment that appeared to differ based on race, which created an environment that felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. As a result, I did not feel that the company fostered an inclusive workplace for employees of color. I also noticed a pattern in which, once staffing needs were met, several employees of color—including myself—were terminated. While I cannot speak to the company’s intentions, the timing and consistency of these decisions raised serious concerns for me regarding fairness and equity in employment practices. Concerns regarding burnout, workload, and self-advocacy were not addressed constructively, and raising issues often felt discouraged. In my experience, advocating for oneself was not met with support and lead to termination. I also observed situations where serious professional concerns were not handled with appropriate disciplinary action, raising questions about consistency and fairness in leadership decisions. Two employees came to work under the influence of alcohol and experienced no disciplinary action due to the color of their skin while other employees were terminated on the spot for minuscule things . Additionally, communication from the OM at times included inappropriate discussions about other employees, contributing to an unprofessional atmosphere. Overall, my experience highlighted significant issues with fairness, professionalism, inclusivity, and management practices.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Center! My boy has been going here since 2021. My boy was completely nonverbal. They are 100% the reason my boy has came so far! He has learned so much. They have all been SO patient with him and have really gotten to know him! He comes home with all kinds of neat art work he has made. They have helped me with My anxiety with teaching him his name, my name, my phone number if emergency. The staff is ALWAYS super nice & keep in contact with you if anything happens (even a scratch) I'd 100% recommend this Aba center & am SUPER Sad my son will be graduating this year. He loves it and everyone there!! please check this place out if you want your baby to be safe, feel heard, and you have a peace of mind while they are there!!! You won't regret it!

My name is Ruth. I have two boys Elvis and Vanvan who have autism. Our boy has been to this clinic since March we love it so far the Clinic is very clean their communications the best, We look forward to have great time. I highly recommend AFL. The staff is incredible — they work incredibly hard and always do their best to provide the best therapy possible for each and every child. The company is also very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, allowing flexibility for clients and their families in the mornings and afternoons. I also appreciate how they support not only the clients but also the parents. Through monthly parent trainings they train caregivers on topics across ABA to help with behavior reduction, functional communication, and generalizing new skills to home. Overall, AFL is a company that cares.

We've seen such great progress over they time our child has been here. The therapists are so attentive and put a lot of care into what they do.

My son has been here since before Christmas and he has made so much progress and he is so happy here. He has grown and changed so much in this short amount of time. His rbt therapist are simply amazing and could not ask for anyone better for him. If one of them can’t be there the team lead steps in for him and my son loves him as much as his normal rbts. The staff is simply amazing and all love him so much. The management team goes above and beyond for him and the other children. They call immediately about anything that happens to them and keeps us up to date about everything. I am so happy to have found a place it’s so close to my house and works perfectly with my work schedule. I could give more stars i would
