Dr. Perkins employs ultrasound technicians who have no training to deal with a visitor, much less the baby's father during an ultrasound appointment. They are rude, inconsiderate, and not trained to provide IU Health values of excellence and team when they don't know COVID protocols. Dr. Perkins had a poor bedside manner when she spoke to me after a procedure. She was evasive, tense, and did not have skills for this.

Dr. Perkins seems very nice, but she has been dismissive of my pain and bleeding of 9 weeks straight. I have been miserable. I have even been woken up by the waves of pain. Every time I’ve gone to the bathroom over the last several weeks, I’ve literally had to clean the bathroom, since it has looked like a massacre has taken place. Finally, I had to go to the ER tonight to address it. I finally received an ultrasound, which revealed a troubling issue. She was the doctor on call for the group, and she was not alarmed by this issue. They called because she is still my OBGYN technically at the moment. She was again dismissive. Staff fully supported my wish to get a second opinion. I’m so furious that my pain and gushing of blood has been ignored for weeks. I feel such betrayal because she seems so sweet. I trusted her because of this. Not anymore.

I can’t say enough kind things about doctor Perkins. I have a lot of issues and she has been patient and kind, helping me through them. She is very knowledgeable, kind, professional and helpful. She takes time to listen to her patients, and does everything in her power to get them what they need.

Dr. Perkins and the other doctors on staff at this office have been great with managing my complex situation and have even called me after hours to speak with me about test results. The front office staff can be less than helpful, but I feel like they mean well.

She was great when everything was normal. Since I have been having miscarriages and other issues, she has been impossible to reach, useless at appointments, and all together not worth seeing.
