Dr Matakevich is fine. The nurse practitioner - not so much. I won't go into details, but I don't like her clinical skills or her bedside manner. However, I don't have a choice, I may have chosen the doctor, but am stuck with her NP every other year which has become intolerable due to some problems there with the clinical skills. I am going elsewhere.

She's got one hand on the doorknob for every visit I've had with her. She makes it very obvious that I'm a time waster for her since I'm not currently preggo nor do I intend to get that way. I love her nurse practitioner, but I'm not allowed to see her every year for my annual, I have to see the doctor every other year. I've seen her twice now in 4 years and I'm going back to planned parenthood - they treat me better and the office staff are better trained.

There is usually a wait at the office to see Dr. Matakevich, but its because she spends so much time with each patient. I don't mind the wait, because I know she'll spend alot of time with me too.She's bright, compassionate, funny, and spends all the time you need with her.I have total faith in her assessments and she's a wonderful person too.
