The BCBAs really spend a lot of time with the kids and they care about their progress.

My son has been here for a 1yr 10mo and a couple days. They make you feel like a family and my son had thrived here. The RBTS and BCBAS even Anne (owner) has made our family felt welcome. They go above and beyond with every question and concern. He is now going into pre-k and we are very excited, and we cannot say thank them enough for everything they have done.

On February 18th, 2025, I picked my 5-year-old nonverbal autistic daughter up from Behavior Works and was informed as I arrived that she had been physically assaulted by a staff member. The owner told me she “found out” about the incident at 1:30 PM—yet I wasn’t contacted until over two hours later while I was already in the pickup line. Why? Because the owner chose to call her attorney before calling me, her mother. My daughter was aggressively grabbed and punched in the back with a closed fist by an RBT staff member named Jada. This was witnessed and reported by another therapist, who did the right thing and spoke up. Disturbingly, another RBT who was in the room watched it happen and just continued carrying on a conversation like nothing had occurred. The police were called, and they took photos of visible bruises on my daughter’s arm and back. She was clearly injured—and the RBT responsible was arrested for battery resulting in bodily injury. I immediately took my daughter to the hospital to be evaluated. Instead of offering support or accountability, the owner sat across from me defending the staff member who hurt my child. She acted like it wasn’t serious or fully confirmed, all while my child sat next to me bruised and traumatized. This is a facility that claims to be an advocate for autistic children—but when one was harmed, they focused more on protecting themselves than protecting the child. My daughter is 5, completely nonverbal, and vulnerable. She couldn’t speak for herself. I trusted Behavior Works to keep her safe—and they failed her on every level. Parents, especially those of special needs children, please be warned. No child deserves what mine went through.

On Feb 18th 2025, my best friend had an incident with her daughter where another staff member put their hands on her daughter. After trying to get them to do something they absolutely refuse and are only wanting to help get her another placement however there has been absolutely no reprimand for the “staff” that laid hands on her

DO NOT work here, DO Not send your child here. Owner is a money hungry, passive aggressive person. She speaks to employees like they are nothing especially black ones. She doesn't care how anyone else feels but her self. Just a horrible, hateful, boring center. Do NOT alter your brain working in this messed up establishment.

Center is terrible. The owner is a passive aggressive woman. DO NOT send your child here they will not get the proper help they require.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF THEY CANT TALK!!! My son went here who has Down syndrome he’s also autistic and non verbal … he was perfectly fine and had get behavior until he started attending here … they hire anybody mostly look like they came off the street without training… every day if not every other day my son had different Therpist walking him out … hair all over their heads, not dressed as Therpist (street clothes) just unprofessional.. they kicked him out because he started having bad behaviors that worsen… I know my son and he’s not going to react unless someone is treating him badly … he’s the sweetest kid ever … and I hate I sent him here because he’s not the same idk what happen all I kno is something about this school isn’t a good feeling
