I recently had a cerebral aneurysm embolization performed by Doctor Bohnstedt. It went smooth. I am so happy with my care and his direction on what we needed to do. He is a very laid back, calm and caring person. I trust him with my life. He is a blessing

An excellent Doctor whose professional comforting demeanor made a potential life threatening situation manageable. After assessing my Wife’s Brain Aneurysm, he took swift action to put her on a path to healing. He immediately set her up for for stent and coil placement which went flawlessly. His calm demeanor eased our anxiety over the situation and saved my Wife’s life, we owe him a debt of gratitude. Dr Bohnstedt and his Staff were/are professional, caring and informative and we cannot thank them enough. Here we are, 6 months down the road and my Wife’s aneurysm is completely healed, with only MRI follow ups for the next 5 years. If anyone ever asks me for a recommendation for a good neurosurgeon, Dr Bohnstedt will be who I recommend.

Dr. Bohnsredt is a very skilled compassionate Surgeon. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure to my husband over the phone. Our daughters surgery was successful, and we were grateful for his services.

The doctor saved my life, after a ruptured aneurysm. Since surgery and 63 Staples later (in my head), I haven't seen or heard from him. My follow-up appointment was scheduled 8 weeks AFTER my brain surgery, and I saw one of his nurses. CT scan showed fluid on my brain....still no communication from Dr. Bohnstedt. Am I to be worried??? Unacceptable. AND they claim to be the "top neurosurgeon team"...ridiculous!

Dr Bohnstedt did surgery on my husbands uncle and my husband was also a patient after a very bad truck wreck. Superb! Explains things very well.

Dr. Bohnstedt saved my sons life. He's an amazing surgeon and an even more amazing person.

When you have a child you never imagine that within the first 3 days of being born they will need a life saving procedure, but that is where my husband and I found ourselves. Long story short Dr Bohnstedt saved our daughter's life that day and continues to do so. He is an expert in his field and is current on the latest research. He explains conditions and the procedures he does well. I could go on and on but bottom line is: this doctor works hard to relate to families and save lives.

This doctor made a mistake on my surgery. Instead of working with me and other specialists to try and figure out why I had serious post-op issues, he belittled me and said things like, "Let me know when you're able to talk like a big girl." (I was crying)I went to ER in an effort to have my MRI looked at one more time. This man was on call, and AGAIN, told me it was in my head. Another doctor took a look and they IMMEDIATELY noticed the horrific truth that this man had MESSED up and he knew it.

He was very caring and willing to answer my concerns if had any doubts after my visit there would be no way I would let him operate on my brain my sister was also impressed with him trying to get an appointment in a timely manner is not possible but glad I saw him and have no doubts he will do a good job.
