Dr. Okula removed my wisdom teeth under the supervision of Dr. Burce Horswell. The surgery ended up leaving the right side of my tongue permanently numb. Neither doctor seemed to think it was a big deal at all. They did not comfort me at all when i was extremely upset by the news - didn't even offer me a tissue when I was crying. I did all my own research to figure out treatment methods. Absolutely would NOT recommend any friends or family to see either doctor. Completely miserable experience and i am still dealing with the effects over 4 months later

I can't say enough good things about the people in this office. Dr. Horswell and everyone else on staff for that matter is remarkable and very good at what they do. In fact, almost everyone (95%) of the entire staff at this CAMC campus (Women's and Children's Hospital) were fantastic. Dr. Horswell oversaw my daughters surgery (soft palette cleft) and I could not be happier with the job they did.. Kept us informed the whole way and treated us as if we were family. I HIGHLY recommend these folks.

Dr. Horswell is a courteous, knowledgeable and highly skilled surgeon. He has been a blessing in my life. He is pleasant, kind and business-like. I waited a long time to decide on surgery and finding Dr. Horswell was worth the wait. I am so grateful to him.

This doctor is amazing. He is so nice, courteous, loving and loyal! I trust him with my life! He is funny too! I miss him alot tho! I would highly recommend anyone to go see him for any facial problems! he is a one heck of a guy!
