I saw Dr. Zarse for a second opinion after a doctor in Columbus only rarely would see me and kept talking only about dialysis. In my first visit with Dr. Zarse we spent 40 minutes discussing my disease and what I could do to help. I learned more in this visit than my family doctor and felt he was an advocate for me. While he did say I may need dialysis he did not scare me into thinking it was imminent. Terrific bedside manner.
I was very happy with my initial experience with Dr. Zarse. My family doctor referred me to him and he actually spent more time with me than most doctors do. I would estimate he spent about 45 minutes with me on our initial visit. He told me they schedule new patients in 60 minute intervals, which is just great for patients. I learned more about my other medical problems than my other specialists!
I have been with this group for a long time and recently my doctor retired from the group and now I see Dr. Zarse. I am so glad to have a such a vibrant doctor looking over my care. He takes plenty of time with me to make sure all of my questions are answered. He does not rush the visit, which most of my other doctors do.
My primary physician referred me to Dr. Zarse and I must say that I was impressed at his bedside manner. He listened to me and spent 30 minutes with me. I learned more about my other health problems than from my other doctors! Highly recommend to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
