I was handed off to Dr. Chekkilla due to retirements and changes in practises of Doctors I admired and appreciated. Doctor Chekkilla merely continued with their diagnosis and only renewed prescriptions already given. Serious health issues were undiagnosed and lead to an extended hospital stay. I choose not to see Doctor Chekkilla and hope find a wiser more experienced Doctor. I feel the level of care I received from Doctor Chekkilla was the same I expect at a minute clinic. I don't feel she did anything wrong but I do feel she did nothing in the time she was my Doctor.

It took me a while to find a doctor that I wanted to see with routine and thanks to Dr. Chekkilla, I have found that doctor. Good listener and problem solver, she set me up with a regimen for my health and well being that thanks to following has improved my quality of life.

She was not interested in finding out what was wrong with me. She was more interested in throwing pills at symptoms. She did not do a thorough exam. She listened to my chest and a nurse took my blood pressure twice. They didn't even take my temperature. She sent me away with pain, swelling and unusually high blood pressure with not a care in the world. Told me to come back in a month if my blood pressure is still high.
