List of Christopher I Obeime's Reviews
I am a physician myself, and seeing how well his office runs is aspiring. My scalp was badly damaged, and Dr. Obeime diagnosed me with efficient accuracy. He is the consummate healer. I highly recommend him.
Great Dermatologist. I had a procedure done today and he made me feel very comfortable. Great bedside manners.
Great bed side manner! Fun and energetic. Took my 12 yr to see him very honest and trustworthy!
This is breaking my heart that I even have to leave such a negative review, but I would not recommend Dr. Christopher Obeime to anyone! I have been going to him since I was 12 years old so a little over 13 years. I first went to Dr. Obeime for a bad rash and mild acne from adolescence, and he was very wise and sound on his decision making involving my treatment. He would sit and speak with both, my mom and I, and discuss what would be the plan to get me to where I wanted to be. I continued seeing him through high school and leading to college. Once I went off to college, I saw him maybe once or twice every 1-2 years, just when my acne flared. Recently in my 20s, I've noticed that my visits with him have been very minimal. He would stay in for a 5 minutes at most and leave me with his nurse that would be left to answer my questions. Recently, I had to switch my antibiotic because the one I was on is on back order. Upon taking the new med, my face and body began to break out into a rash gradually. I didn't know what was wrong but within a month in a half, I knew I had to go see him. When I made an appointment (making appointments there is the hardest... you're sometimes on hold for 15-30 mins at a time. Not even the receptionist fault, she is literally only ONE PERSON), he recommended to stay on the antibiotics but gave me new morning/night time topicals. Fast forward 2 weeks and my face looks even more broke out! I go back frustrated because, 1.) I'm a recent college graduate trying to afford everything LIFE and can't afford to go to the doctor every other week. 2.) I knew I would be given NEW things to take which would equal more money. Mind you, the stuff he gave me in total was $150+50 bill for visit. When he came in, I tried explaining what was going on and he immediately said, "that's really rare that you would get a rash... but I'm not saying you can't." Then, I tried to explain my frustration and just wanted him to listen. He immediately got defensive and treated me like what I was saying was below his knowledge and years of practice. It was frustrating because I wasn't trying to be arrogant or a know if all, it's just been extremely difficult trying to get my skin clear and figure out what it is. I ended up leaving his office that day in tears because he sat and went in on me for 6 minutes and as always, left me with his nurse. His nurse is always helpful and knowledgeable and knew where I was coming from.He ended up giving me another medicine that was in the same FAMILY as the others and it did the same thing. Finally, my mother (who's a NP) did research and found that both antibiotics have RASH as a side effect. It's really sad because I'm a teacher getting ready to enter the school year and I hate dealing with this issue. I just hate how my doctor who was once so kind and receptive became someone so rude and impulsive. Really sad I have to leave him after nearly 14 years, but that was the final straw.
Rude af and they wil change your appointment whoever the female is thats answer the phone with attitude should find something safe to do
I read some of these reviews and could not believe them. Dr. Obeime truly changed my life. I went to him with a discoloration on my whole face that made me feel very self conscious and depressed. I didn’t want to even show my face. He was very professional with me and knew exactly what my problem was. I seen him for approximately 4 months and I’m-proud to say my face is completely clear. There are No signs that I ever had a skin problem. Today was my last appointment unless I have another issue. My hats off to you Dr. Obeime… keep doing what you do I’ll keep referring ppl to you💯 👏🏾 👏🏾 I read some of these reviews and could not believe them. Dr. Obeime truly changed my life. I have been seeing the doctor for 6 months plus for what was suppose to be fungus in my finger nails. Nothing tried helped and the last medicine made the situation worse. With pain and exposure increasing, I made an 8:00 AM appointment on April 20, 2022. Dr Obeine assumed I said he did not know what he was doing (I didn't say that even though he changed his diagnosis from fungus to virus). He came in screaming at me, told me to find another doctor 3 times, and stormed out of the room while continuously talking over me. I tried to explain that if I had said he was inferior, I am woman enough to tell him to his face. I had seen his Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde performance on my 1st and 2nd visit, but I have NEVER had a "doctor" scream and hollar at me. I will find a more qualified doctor to clear up this very difficult situation from which I still suffer. Our whole family has been going to Dr. Obeime for years. He is a wonderful doctor. I trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone!
Went to Dr. Obeime as a referral for hair loss.Best thing I could've done. After a few short months I've started to see a difference in my hair. Less shedding and noticeable hair growth in the front. Not gonna lie...those scalp injections hurt like hell in the beginning. Tolerable now.I'm happy with my decision to go to him and now also seeing him for my skin. I wasted thousands of dollars, yes, on going to one of those other clubs promising results but not delivering.
He is a good Doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
