List of Daniel A. Selo's Reviews
I had a routine colonoscopy with Dr Selo at the Bloomington Endoscopy Center. Dr Selo and the nursing staff were professional and efficient, answering my questions completely and treating me considerately. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his staff for a procedure.
Dr. Selo recently treated me while I was in the Bloomington Hospital. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him without hesitation!
I had a very rare pancreatic tumor and Dr. Selo had to do the touchy biopsy. He was one of only 2 doctors who was willing to do the procedure. He was amazing. After my diagnosis, he also referred me to a surgeon who also did an excellent job!
I was nervous about me first ever endoscopy. Dr. Selo and his staff assisted me in feeling so much more at ease. I also did not remember the procedure only entering the endoscopy room and waking up in the post op room.
I've had a problem with large amounts of blood in my stool for over a decade. The problem has become longer in duration more recently. He's done nothing in both of my visits. Says it is okay, which I doubt.
I have been ill with a GI illness for over 2 years and heard nothing but glowing recommendations of DR Selo...bunk! Two years in a row he did tests and assured me I'd get better, He knew the problem. This spring after a test he told my husband he would call him at work to discuss the findings. He never did. Instead I called the nurses station about a month after the tests, still suffering and was told by the nurses" Dr Selo says you are dismissed ; it's all in your head.Later I discovered I have severe gastritis and since I'd also been fainting for a year, which I told him ( he gave me iron infusions for that) I later found out from an MRI I have a brain blood vessel disease that leads to early strokes. I'm not even 60 years old. I consider him okay if you have a simple to diagnose problem, but he makes sure not to spend time on difficult cases

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
