List of Daniel J. Desalle's Reviews
Daniel Desalle treated my mother for a COPD exacerbation 5 years ago. After inducing her into a coma, he lacked the expertise to take her out of the coma. He was consistently unable to answer questions specific to my mother's case, choosing instead to speak in generalities, and eventually suggested it was simply time to let her go and move on. We moved her to another hospital, she was taken out of the coma, and lived for over four more years.
I would take any and every step necessary to avoid seeing Dr. Desalle, including going to a different hospital. I have talked with others at the St. Francis hospital in Mooresville who feel the same way. After seeing him in action on three separate occasions during the past two years, it is clear he is an arrogant cad more interested in talking about cars than the wellbeing and treatment of his patient. He is damaging the reputation of St. Francis.
He was too busy talking about cars with my husband to even ask me how I was doing. When he looked at my chest x-rays he said with a flippant attitude “well, your lungs are shot” needless to say I was devastated. Bedside manners were nil so thank goodness for the respiratory therapist who had kind words. Don’t think he is patient oriented at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
