David B. Thomas's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Thomas is great. Its the front line people that is making me want to change. I have Chrons and recently I saw the NP Deirdre and she ordered a CT Of my stomach and I had it done on 6/11 and she has not called me with results or what the next steps are. Im very concerned and I have called office several times and no call backs.

Dr Thomas helped save my life when I had internal bleeding. He put three clips on an ulcer and I will continue to see him. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Thomas was thorough, but I had a problem with the medicine he prescribed and his nurse will not call me back. When you call you can never talk to a person. I called 3 days ago, still haven’t heard back.

Scheduled for a colonoscopy today. This was scheduled over 3 months ago. We did the prep, went without food, got up at 5 a.m. to complete prep. Drove over an hour to get here only to be told the procedure was cancelled. Never received any notice. No one called to reschedule. Told by one person Dr. Thomas was off due to illness in his family. The office manager then said they sent notice 2 months ago. Am furious, only exacerbated by hunger and now low blood sugar!!!

Dr. Thomas is a great doctor I was uneasy about the test he calm me down and made me feel at ease he had a great staff also

Hats off to Dr. Thomas and his team at the IU West facility in Avon Indiana. Robbie, Jodi & Billie (RN's and LPN's) were all outstanding

I was hospitalized with abdominal pain. Although I thought Dr. Thomas's bedside manner was a little short, I appreciated that he was very proactive to determine what my pain was or where it was coming from. Of course I was on a lot of pain medicine so what I perceived as short could have been the medication. I like Dr Thomas

I went to the Indiana Endoscopy Center in Avon Indiana to get a Colonoscopy.While my admission checkup did not show any flags, part way through the procedure, I began to tank and my blood pressure shot up to a high of 220 over 117. I was moved to the recovery room where for some time I was in severepain accompanied by vomiting. I began to discharge a dark blacksubstance which looked to me and to the nurse to be blood and her alarm hastened her to call the Dr. back in to verify. She also asked me if I felt like I might have had a puncture during the procedure. A question Iwould have no way of knowing.Upon seeing this, Dr. Thomas' focus became one of getting me on myfeet. dressed and out the door with follow up instructions that if I kepthaving pain I should check in at the ER. In all honesty, I felt he was worried I would code in his office andthat was his main concern. The procedure was not finished and I am now having more pain and discomfort than before I went for the test.Now I know my head was a bit fuzzy at the time but I was accompanied by my wife, who is also a medical professional with some 20 years in service as an OT for the VA hospital here in IndianaIt was her opinion that he was rushing us out the door with as muchdispatch as he could muster.Dr. Thomas showed no concern for my health from the point his procedure went sour and I believe his attitude was one of depraved indifference to my health, only to protect himself by avoiding having me crash while in his office. I am currently fifling with the Att. General and will be looking to sue him and Meridan Medical Group. STAY AWAY FROM DR. THOMAS
