List of Erica A. Eugster's Reviews
This was the WORST doctor my child has ever seen. She was rude in front of my child. She stated so much misinformation that even my child wondered if she was reading the right patient history. She then without ordering ANY tests or doing an examination stated there is nothing wrong with my child. She should have her license to practice medicine revoked.
Was the WORST doctor my child has ever seen. Was rude in front of my child. My child had abnormal labs, classic textbook symptoms and she said nothing was wrong with my child and to put on a diet. Should not be practicing medicine.
Dr. Eugster is busy, so it may be challenging to get an appointment with her. But she's busy because she's wonderful. She was terrific with our daughter. She put her at ease, answered (and even anticipated) her questions, and helped us understand treatment. We felt very confident that we were in excellent hands.
We love Dr. Eugster. We met her during our emergency hospital stay at diagnosis and instantly clicked. She has built a great relationship with my son, is a great listener and really involves us as parents in decisions about his care. She also is really good about involving my son (teen) in any decisions too. Don't listen to any negative reviews, she is one of the best!
We have seen Dr. Eugster for over a year. We trust her completely when it comes to managing my little one's type 1 diabetes.
Our daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over 14 years ago. Dr. Eugster has always been her doctor. She is such a good and caring person, we don't know what we would have done without her!!!
On first visit told us our daughter needed to go on a diet (she was 10) and didn't think there was a thyroid issue. (even after looking at our doctor's blood test that showed low levels) After she did her own blood work, the levels were still low, and put her on a 2nd stage drug. Next visit she had lost her chart, and basically said the same thing reduce diet (doesn't over eat anyway). Our family doctor says he can see her, and she is too young to be on a strict diet.
Denies child's issues even though she almost passes out. Won't give followup appointment.
I saw this doctor because my son's usual doctor was not available. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I had questions for her about my son's condition, and she did not even pretend to listen. She interrupted me continually, spouted platitudes and outdated research, was EXTREMELY condescending, and in no way, shape or form answered my questions. You would think someone in pediatrics would have the slightest clue in how to deal with parents who only want what's best for their child. My encounter with this doctor was extremely upsetting for our family, she did not help us with our son's condition at all. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is the archetype of doctors who simply go by the book, and believe themselves to be of a princely class simply because they have two letters after their name.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
