I have had several visits with Dr. Fogel where we did an ERCP. I was always treated extremely well. Each procedure was explained in detail and all risks were explained so that I understood everything that could or would happen. Doctor Fogel followed up with me and my wife immediately after each procedure and went over all findings. I highly recommend Doctor Fogel and the IU medical staff.

Dr Fogel is the best GI Specialist ever. I have seen 4 other GI doctors due to insurance changes over the years. They all would have no clue how to help me achieve the goals of getting my Pancreatitis caused by gallbladder removal under control. He has patients n understanding. He listened to me as a human not as a brick wall.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fogel. He communicates well with his patients and always takes time to talk with the family. When a cancellation on his schedule left an opening for my husband, Dr. Fogel called personally -- on a Sunday -- to let us know.

Dr Fogel is without doubt the finest Dr I have meet. I was referred to him by my family Doctor in Grand Rapids Mi. Ive had four ERCP's by him . His ability to explain what he is going to do and his talent at doing that is the best I have experienced.

First and only specialist to give me a diagnosis of cp! Has tried every procedure, tests, and treatments before finally coming to the conclusion that a gj feeding is the most practical solution! Takes the time to listen to my concerns thoroughly before giving me an answer including doing research. He has also addressed & taken care of my pain management via a pain contract. Unlike most dr's he understands acute and chronic pancreatitis & believes that my symptoms are real & not physcological!
