Dr. Prall saved my eyesight from a rare genetic disorder. I thank him everyday I wake-up and SEE.
He was kind and knowledgeable. And honest letting us know the truth and what to expect’! That is very important to me! Thank you
I have been seeing Dr. Prall for many years. He is knowledgeable, helpful in answering questions regarding the eye condition or the problem in what the cause is. I strongly recommend him to my family and friends who are looking for Retina problems due to aging or other cause.
Dr Prall is the most kind and thorough doctor i have ever been treated by. If you need an eye doctor I am confident that Dr Prall can help you!
The best! I suffered for years before I started to see Dr. Prall. He listens, he cares, and he provides answers and treatment options, and let’s his patients digest the information and make an educated decision. Dr Prall has been treating me for over six years. I trust him with my vision.
Our ophthalmologist, Dr. Frascella, referred my husband to Dr. Prall for a torn retina. We were told to expect between 2-4 hours for the appointment. The office is conveniently located off of the 106th Street exit on Meridian Street. There is a large parking lot with many handicapped parking spaces that were well maintained and salted in this bitter cold weather. This was a very busy office when we arrived for a 1:00 appointment. We walked in behind 6 other individuals but with 4 check-in windows we moved quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful explaining the new patient paperwork. The waiting area has ample seating, comfortable chairs and a large flat screen to entertain us during our short wait. This is one efficient medical group. Each step in the process (testing, consultation and Laser procedure for us) has a separate office and waiting area (just steps from each other) as you progress down the hall. The wait was less than 10 minutes before the MA took us back for initial testing. She was so nice, very efficient, knowledgeable and reassuring. The Physician consultation and exam was thorough, comprehensive and professional. We soon realized the laser repair was occurring next...not at another appointment. After confirming diagnosis we moved to the laser procedure room waiting area. The laser room assistant was a little abrupt here (without warning grabbing his head back for drops) and lacked the bedside manner we experienced earlier. Other than this minor annoyance the entire experience proceeded smoothly and in less than 15 minutes. The entire visit and process took right at two hours. We really expected at least two separate appointments and appreciated the efficiency of this office. We highly recommend Dr. Prall and the group Associated Vitreoretinal and Uveitis. Just rolls off the lips, right?...lol.
Great office crew and nurses/technicians. Dr. Prall is very efficient and precise. He has been my doctor for many years.
My 11 year old has been under Dr. Prall’s care for over a month now due to having a detached retina. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Prall and the staff. They are caring, compassionate, kind and interact well with my son as well as me. If I call with questions or concerns, Dr. Prall is who calls me back and discusses them with me. I’m very, very thankful that my son is in great hands.
I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Prall. I have serious, long-term vision issues that will someday cost me my sight. So I've seen a lot of doctors over the years. But with Dr. Prall, I've had both the best patient/doctor experience but also made the most headway against my disease.
I have too many complaints to list! Wouldn't even know where to begin! I will never be back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
