Dr Brown took over me after shift change. I was supposed to be discharged with pain medication sent to the pharmacy. I was due for pain medication at 830 am. It wasn't until 12:08pm that he found the time to send in the order for the prescription. Crying in pain after 2 herniated discs in my spine wasn't apparently urgent enough. My nurse even expressed her frustration with him "conveniently unavailable to anyone" to take 3 min to finish up a patient. The entire experience makes me want to avoid st vincent ER if he is on shift.

Cruel & insensitive. No bedside manner whatsoever. Even after tests showed I had 2 herniated discs he refuses to take me seriously about my pain.
