List of Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center's Reviews
While the first year was amazing, our experience is gradually going downhill and communication on the centers part is atrocious. I stay for a select few therapists, if they leave, we leave. Pay your rbt's better and communicate with them more often.
Will not answer phones. When they do answer phones no one who answers knows how to schedule appointments. Have been getting f*c*ed with by these people. All I want is to schedule an appointment for my kid.
Good staff they are friendly. Lourdemia miss you guys
This place was horrible! I never actually felt like the RBT’s gave a crap about my kid. I had two at the beginning that were great, but after that, it kind of fell through. They’re very secretive about everything, they won’t let you beyond the lobby, which in my opinion is kind of shady. I actually found a place that is very invested in my son and they love him dearly. He has Done a complete turnaround since we left Holbridge. I wouldn’t wish this place on anyone.!
Extremely Frustrating Experience with Billing at Hopebridge We’ve been trying to get our son started with ABA therapy at Hopebridge, and while the local facility has been supportive and ready to help him for over a week, we haven’t been able to move forward because of an ongoing issue with their billing department. Despite MANY calls and follow-ups on our end, no one will update our insurance information. We even went so far as to contact our insurance company ourselves and got confirmation that we are covered and in-network. Hopebridge’s own website lists our insurance as accepted. But for some reason, their billing department (Rachel) refuses to make the necessary updates so our child can begin services. She has claimed for over a week that she’s waiting on her supervisor but won’t give a phone number for said supervisor. It’s heartbreaking and incredibly frustrating when you’re doing everything you can to get help for your child—and the only thing standing in the way is a billing office that won’t communicate or follow through. We’ve essentially done their job for them, and they still won’t fix the issue. Parents seeking support for their children deserve better. We hope this gets resolved soon, not just for us, but for other families who may be experiencing the same unnecessary roadblocks
I do not recommend taking your child to this facility. They hire staff that are super mean to the kiddos, and pick on, harass, make feel really uncomfortable to the ones who are an advocate for those kids. No matter how many times you complain to the hire up people ( HR ) etc about the staff, how they’re operating things over there, how there are staff abusing those kiddos. They will not fire them. Please do not take your kid to this clinic! Your kid is not safe there.
They were all very welcoming and explained everything to us.
First just wanted to start off by saying DO NOT take your child to this facility. There are so many better places to take your child and we wish we would have slowed down when picking where to take our son. When we first decided to take our son with ASD to Hopebridge it seemed like a good place to take him and checked all the boxes of what we were looking for. And initially we saw good progress and were very happy with how our son was doing. After about the first year the staff keep getting worse and worse. They kept losing their most experienced RBTs and BCBAs. They lost their most qualified speech therapist. The ones that came in to replace were unqualified and really just seemed to not care. The leadership of this facility is lacking and very unprofessional. We saw a steep regression in our sons progress but since he did well initally we tried to stick it out and hope things would turn around. Well they did not. Our son went from being verbal to completely non verbal. He would cry when getting dropped off at the facility and we didnt know why. We believe now it was lack of care being received. Then one random parent teacher meeting they aburptly told us they would not be treating our son anymore and we had a couple months to figure out what our next move was, this was in the middle of a school year. If you know how long it can take to get into a new facility that specializes in treating ASD, this was a gut punch. This actually ended up being a blessing in disguise as now we have our son in a much better school in Bloomington. On top of all that it also came to light they had an employee that was arrested for watching sexually explicit material and masturbating at the school in the room with the kids. This still an ongoing court case. The most disgusting part is their corporate office came down for 1 day, handed out some papers and swept it under the rug. Once again if youre a new parent deciding where to take your kid with ASD. DO NOT take your child to this facility. There are so many better options in Bloomington that care about the kids and will give them the help they need.
with employees that they hire with records of endangering their own children and being addicts while pregnant, you really think your kids will be cared for properly?
The corporate model just does not work for a therapy clinic. This company is unwieldy and top heavy. It's 2 companies in one, and the 2 parts don't communicate well. Everything is standardization and it takes the efficiency and personal touch out of the equation. It also doesn't respect it's employees — it micromanages the therapists. It treats the RBT's even worse - doesn't guarantee enough hours for a living wage and always "downstaffing". It/they spend money on dinners instead of paying RBTs. The clinic did not have essential, appropriate therapy supplies like an age appropriate playground, therapy swings, etc. But they had dinners - for employees holding master degrees. Meanwhile the RBTs are worried about making rent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
