Dr itoro was recommended. I try to support black people but unfortunately we can never stay professional and proper doing out jobs and we half do it so succeed. I have had 2 major health issues at her office and ongoing issues that she prescribes medications and other things to reach out for. She doesn't communicate when your worried about something on your test. She doesn't prescribed anything and she has all the nurses try to do it and they don't have a clue th things she prescribes. I been dealing w a little of stuff bc seeing a Dr takes long , I had more immediate situations. I seen Michael before and he was very informative and helpful when I had a test result .

It has taken me so long to find a doctor who genuinely cares about their patients. I took a shot driving a little over an hour to this location by recommendation of a friend and I will just say that I have now made that trip several times and will continue to do so. The entire staff is wonderful and their set up with different department is so efficient. Dr. Itoro Okpokho specifically is wonderful.

My husband went to her for primary care. He quit drinking at her insistence and actually went to Fairbanks for detox. When he got out he was not able to sleep and had crippling anxiety. Fairbanks recommend he follow up with PCP for anti-anxiety medication. After following up with Dr. O as he had been advised, she treated him poorly, sent him away with an SSRI (he’s not depressed), and told him to get a lavender diffuser and use “calming apps” on his phone. This is a man who drank daily for 15 years and needed temporary medical support for sleep. She provided no medical support and acted as if he were seeking drugs. Her attitude with him was as if he were subhuman. Please don’t waste your time with this inexperienced, irresponsible and robotic young doctor. Might as well just download apps and go foraging for herbs.
