Terrible bedside manner. Reading the other reviews now seems par for the course. We were in a meeting with hospice services when he came in uninvited pulling up a chair in an already tough conversation that he shouldn’t have been a part of. Very arrogant and self righteous.

The doctor was rude to my father after his stroke. He threw my dad's paper work at him. He was condescending and unprofessional.

Out of all the nueroligist I have seen Dr Fleck could use some guidance with his bedside banner! I had stroke in 1999 Mr Fleck was not able to display his compassion, like the advertisement said. I have used IU Medical all my life and have never been treated as if incompetent and ignorant! I think he is getting aged and grumpy! But his intern was very compassionate and concerned! So I did appreciate that his display of cooperation!

He was arrogant, condescending, and didn’t inform me he was going to put his hands on me beforehand. (I’ve had trauma) He also guesses about conditions out of his area of expertise, and insults other doctors he doesn’t approve of.

Arrogant. Condescending. Uncaring. Tries to diagnose or undiagnose you when the illness isn’t even his specialty. Thinks all the tests done by other doctors are not worthy of his supreme diagnostic abilities.

I am a new patient of Dr Fleck. He seemed agitated and condescending towards me and my concerns. I know I’m not in a serious medical situation but some symptoms are troubling for me and a little compassion could go a long way. I’m a pretty agreeable patient and am just trying to understand why I’m having certain issues.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Flecks and we absolutely love him! Dr. Fleck saw my husband while he was in the emergency room and is now his neurologist. There are not enough good things I can say about him. The office staff is nice and friendly. Once you get in to the office, you feel very comfortable with Dr. Fleck and he spends all the time with you that you need. He explains everything and makes sure it makes sense to you. He has been extremely helpful in finding a medication that works for my husband. He returns the phone calls personally which is rare. He is very price conscious if you don't have insurance, and does not give you a medicine that you can't afford. We are just really impressed with him.
