Dr. Szatkowski has went above and beyond with ortho care for my husband after his motorcycle accident. He has excellent patient bedside manner and makes sure every question is answered. He is very thorough and cares deeply for all of his patients. You can just tell he enjoys what he does and takes pride in it. I highly recommend him and his entire ortho team.

I highly recommend Dr. Szatkowski. I messed up my left leg due to a motor cycle crash and Dr. Jan did an outstanding job fixing it. I also like to mention that the entire staff at IU was great and I could not have gotten better care anywhere.

Best Dr. He listens to you. Answers your guestions. Makes sure that you understand everything. He explains everything thats he is going to do and all the risks and options. He is caring and always has a smile for everyone. He is inspiring, he has taken very good care of me and is a great sergeon. I tell everyone to go see him. My husband also agrees with everything I just stated. He deserves 10 stars!

Dr Szatkowski repaired my leg after a compound fracture from being struck on my bicycle in 2012. He installed a titanium medullary nail through my left tibia. To date there have been no complications or problems, other than slight numbness on part of the skin and some tightness when weather is a certain way. I have been riding my bicycle 21 miles daily, commuting to work 10.5 miles each way ever since recovering late 2012. I am so grateful for his excellent work that has served well through the years...I'm now 67. Thank you Dr Szatkowski!
