I could not be more pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Jay Wolverton and his staff at IU University Dermatology. Dr. Jay Wolverton is definitely one of the most caring, knowledgeable, empathetic physicians I have ever met.

Had a appointment this morning & I guess I missed the scheduled time. Lord knows I have waited for him on several appointments. Especially the one downtown when he was 45 minutes late for a procedure & one of the nurses sprayed WD-40 on a door while I was having a cyst removed. It is pretty bad when they just moved the people up when I was late but still could not keep me on the schedule. There was only one person in the waiting room & she was heading in when I was checking in. I'm sure there are more professional offices to handle my care. It must be nice that you make too much money you can turn away your patients. I guess forgot the basic premise of caring for a patient

Dr. Wolverton looked at my skin condition and knew exactly what had been ailing me for over two years. After seeing two other skin doctors that had me taking diluted bleach baths and doing other off the wall treatments I finally had the answer I had been searching for. Now I have it under control and can go back whenever I need to consult with him again. He is kind and listens to your questions.

I have a skin condition, HS. My pain was on a 10, i called out of work for 2 days. I cried over and over all day and night. Dr. Wolverton allowed me to come in for an emergency appt on a Friday. He and his assistant were so kind, very caring. We went over a bunch of options. I opted for an injection. An hour later, my pain went from a 10 to a 6 or 7. I had lost use of an extremity and now I regained use of it. I cried in his office the pain and anxiousness of an injection was too much. But he and his asst gave me time and didnt make me feel bad. I am SO GRATEFUL!! If you can get in to see him, he's so worth it! And he didn't rush me, had great bedside manners!

Dr Wolverton is thorough and knowledgable. He provides clear explanations during the appt plus a "sun protection measures" handout. He is professional, listens to you & is easy to talk to.

Dr. Wolverton is a wonderful doctor! Caring, compationate and very thorough. Even though he looks barely old enough to have graduated from high school he is highly knowledgeable in his field. His professional yet tremendously friendly and sincere demeanor makes you feel at ease and comfortable.

Dr. Wolverton is super thorough which we have not seen from most dermatologists. He spent a lot of time with my husband and me and was very friendly! We will miss him.

Dr. Wolverton is an excellent physcian. He is knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, caring. Dr. Wolverton takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them individually. I'm saddened that he will be leaving Kaiser. He is definitely an asset to any health facility. I was an ER Nurse in NYC for 12 years and worked with many physicians. Dr. Wolverton is among the best of them! It was a blessing to have him care for the patients on Maui. Mahalo and best wishes!
