She may be a talented physician, but it doesn’t matter if you lack basic compassion for your patients. We are potentially looking out of state now for a doctor for my daughter’s care due to her refusal to answer questions about the long term effects of her complicated diagnosis, mental health and well being. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone, I suggest finding someone else. Advocate for yourself, I know there are physicians who can manage your care while having acceptable bedside manner.

She was able to confirm and start treatment within a week of my first visit which included a 3 part biopsy of my cornea She was really thorough and it was pain free I was awake and comfortable which followed numerous things done by other staff in her office. When she had gotten confirmation of the diagnosis she was apologetic about the diagnosis fortunately it is manageable which has been proven over the last 3 years of management. She keeps my local ophthalmologist aware of what is going as well as my dermatologist and family doctor.

Not impressed. The nursing staff literally preface the appointment with what will happen, very regimented. She had zero time for any type of backstory, and she didn’t have the full 18 month history of the surgery/trouble as we were transferred to her. At one point I had to sit back and wipe the tears off of my face due to my very light sensitive eye dripping and she said very bluntly “put your chin back up here, I’m not done”. Terrible bedside manners. This appointment is for me, not for her. Afterwards the other nurse explained that she’s very to the point and no chit chat due to the number of patients she sees.

I had an unattached lens and was referred to Dr. Jennifer Nottage. From the moment of my first appointment I had complete confidence in Dr. Nottage. She is very professional and explained what to expect during surgery and recovery. Dr. Nottage and her staff were very compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Nottage to anyone who needs a cornea specialist. I am for very thankful for Dr. Jennifer Nottage , I can see better out of eye now then before my lens became unattached.

Extremely impressed. Great surgical skills, pleased with results and excellent communication. My case was considered difficult due to pre-existing retina issues. My retina specialist highly recommended Dr. Nottage. I think medical professionals are like any other field. those in that field are best able to evaluate their peers. His recommendation meant a lot to me. He was 100% correct. In addition to her professional acumen, Dr. Nottage personally engaged with me as an individual. She listened to my concerns, explained what to expect and made me feel valued.
