When I was 14 years old Dr. Brown treated me for Pectus Excavatum. This wasn't a life threatening condition, and I wasn't necessarily in pain, but I will never forget the kindness and intelligence that Dr. Brown conveyed. I had my 30th birthday last week and currently workout and bench press more than my body weight. Without Dr. Brown I would never be where i'm at today. I happened to see an article that was posted within Riley that called attention to Dr. Brown deciding to retire in 2020. The article was quite emotional to read, because I began to realize the impact this man has had on so many. For me it was a cosmetic procedure, but for others it was a life-saving procedure. Dr. Brown is not only a hero, but he is an inspiration for what it means to have a life well-lived. Thanks Dr. Brown-- really wish I could have told you this in person before you retired, you really are a hero.

Dr. Brown saved my life at Riley in the early 1990s when I was a baby. I now work for IU Health and I am at Riley on occasion. I’ve been a lifelong Riley patient prior to working there and none of this would be possible without Dr. Brown. I greatly respect him.

Dr Brown saved my daughter!! He has performed open ❤ surgery on my daughter Katelyn THREE TIMES over the first 26 years of her life. She has Digeorge syndrome and with it comes some deformities of the heart.He rebuilt her heart in 1994, replaced a valve and repaired in 2005 and again in 2018.She is a miracle because she has had the best doctor and she is and 😇. We met a nurse that had her daughter saved by Dr Brown and then dedicated her life to working with him to save lives.I thank Dr. Brown in my thoughts when I see how Awesome my daughter has turn out and if you are lucky enough to have the option of this man to operate on you or your love ones you should not wait to choose.

Dr. Brown did a wonderful job on my open heart surgery, Ross Procedure in December 2019. I'm now running 2-3 miles per day and feeling great. I'm very happy with the early results and am very thankful for him and his excellent work and accessibility.

Dr Brown did an open heart surgery on my now 11 year old son in 2013. He did a wonderful job and treated my son and our whole family like his own family. Very thankful to have him do the surgery.

Dr. Brown just did a Ross procedure on me 2 weeksAgo he did a Fabulous Job I'm so glad I got to be one of his patients for this procedure!Dr. Brown is a excellent Surgeon with a caring heart!I just want to thank him for giving me an extension on my life. I wish I could give him 10 STARS ..........

Dr. Brown is a very kind and compassionate person. He has been involved with my heart issues since I was a kid, and he recently performed my 3rd open-heart surgery. Thank you Dr. Brown! 😊

Without this amazing man and God guiding him I wouldn't be here today. When everyone else had given up on me Dr Brown never did. He has performed all 3 of my open heart surgeries he is my angel on earth sent from God. Thank You with all of my heart Dr Brown forever grateful love Misty.
