My experience with Greenwood Ortho and in particular with Dr. Martin has been exceptional. The office staff are professional and on time and the quality of care is high. Dr. Martin is an excellent surgeon and explained the procedure well. Overall, my experience has been outstanding!

Dr. Martin was the best and is the best. I had both knees done at same time. So glad I did. I had total confidence in Dr. Martin or I would not have made that choice. When I did the pre op and instructions at community south two weeks before surgery I was reinforced I had picked the right guy as they love him there. It’s like your a VIP there if you have Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin gives you the choice of going to St Francis or Community South. My advice pick community south as they have a course two weeks before surgery that is so helpful and I found invaluable especially for your recovery. At time of my surgery St. Francis did not offer that. And I cannot emphasize enough how valuable that was and urge anyone having replacement to do the class. I also can’t help but tell anyone how happy I am with Dr Martin and his staff. Almost forgot his assistants and staff are also more than top notch.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Martin’s off and on for 10 years. He is a top notch surgeon and a very kind and caring provider. I’ve referred several friends/family to him and they all were pleased with their care. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

One star... I wish I had never seen him he never helped me out made me wait 4 months to get a diagnosis or a plan of action... The last visit I was there he didn't even show up and the doctor that came in the Room told me I should go and get a second opinion...I left crying... If he didn't want me as a patient should of told me ...

Sometimes people with good credentials forget how they got there by helping people... that was not my experience with him..he made me wait 4 month with no plan of action or diagnosis..my last Appointment to see him he didn't even show up.. He sent in another doctor I had never met before , tells me I should go get a second opinion.. After everything I had done to get better and back to work..I'm ... I was in tears when I left... He left me with no diagnosis no plan of action and 4 months into my pain... As you can imagine I was very depressed when I got home until I called an IU doctor, which got me in very quickly after they asked the questions that I was never asked before at his office. I am scheduled for surgery because I have ripped and torn.. Tendinitis... Which could have already been dealt with if someone cared about me.. so I suffered for nothing...or for his ego.

Simply the best. He actually listened to me when I said I couldn’t take the pain anymore. Other ortho docs said I was “too young” (46) for a knee replacement. Dr Martin tried several conservative treatments but the pain persisted & I was starting to fall because I couldn’t bare weight on one leg. That was 6 years ago. Yes, the recovery is tough but he got me through it. That was 6 years ago and still feel so much better. I refer everyone I know to him.

Dr. Martin performed total hip replacement surgery, and his care was excellent. In my appointments with him and his staff, before, during and after the surgery, he has been very professional, knowledgeable and concerned about my care. I feel he listens extremely well and considered what my needs were from the initial visit until now. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I have visited him at the Emerson location.

Fantastic. 2 knee replacements with zero issues. Staff is great, friendly, and very helpful. 2 offices which are very convenient. Community South Hospital was also great. Staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Dr. Martin is always asking how the experience was and very interested in your opinions and ideas on how to improve. X-ray technician is onsite at his office which makes it very convenient. Highly recommend.
