Short Summary: I do not recommend Dr. Geise, she seems burned out and has no great deal of compassion to neither child or the parents. Long read: Dr. Geise has been seeing our son since the 1 month old(2015) and up until he was little over 6 yr. The main problem our son would experience was coughs. He would experience weeks of coughs after a regular cold, or coughs that would be off and on for a while. All we heard from this doctor is that "we do not treat cough in kids", "it's just a course of cold". When COVID came around the situation was horrible. With cough being a main symptom, our son could not go in to the doctor's office even for a regular checkup due to his regular (by that time) coughs. Eventually, she tried couple of allergy meds and they didn't help and on a few occasions she declined the idea of possible asthma saying that she "hears no wheezing" and " I ran the asthma center before I am sure what asthma is and this is not it". Within age 5 our son had few very continuous cough spans (bronco spasms) that we would have to deal with on our own as the office did not allow him to be seen with the COVID symptoms (have to do test first etc.). To schedule future appointment with her was impossible - only on the same day (this was as of Nov 2021). So, we found another pediatrician and with his care, approach, and referral - our son was diagnosed.. with asthma in June 2022.

Dr. Geise is a practical, thoughtful, and well practiced perfectionist whom I would recommend to my closest friends (they too have had a great experience). If you are a business minded professional or a busy woman on the go... she gets it. She had performed 2 major surgeries on me over the past 11 years ... and I’ve been fully satisfied with my results, her office staff and her amazing extended team (i.e. anesthesiologist, intake nurse, etc).

Dr. Geise was seeing my daughter as well as my two step children. She was often very judgemental and rude towards myself and my husband. Her beside manner is unprofessional. After my daughter had suffered a head injury, Dr. Geise simply moved her neck and determined she was "fine". After this experience we changed family physicians and finally found a caring professional that took everything seriously and treated us with the upmost respect.
