She ordered an MRI for my daughter while being on seizure meds. The MRI came back abnormal and I was told she had a mitochondrial disease (Leigh's Disease) and was passed on to another specialist. Turns out she doesn't have LD. The abnormal MRI was due to the seizure meds SHE PRESCRIBED HER. So I highly recommend getting a second opinion if your child sees her!

Dr. Felker diagnosed our son with a very rare genetic neuromuscular disorder upon the first visit at 11 months old. This diagnosis or disease is time critical so we are very thankful for her skill and expertise in diagnosing. She was very kind and spent over an hour explaining and letting us know the diagnosis she felt strongly about. Blood work came back a week later to confirm her suspicion. We do not feel we were lead in the right direction as far as initiating treatment ASAP, but we believe this is due to the hospital where Dr. Felker treats simply isn’t as funded as far as promptly obtaining insurance approval etc as other hospitals but this is Dr. Felker’s fault. For a proper and prompt diagnosis I highly recommend.
