This is my second visit with Dr. Ghabril at the Digestive & Liver Disorders Clinic at I.U. Hospital downtown. He is very personable, listens well and is compassionate. He is thorough without ordering unnecessary tests until ruling out other issues.His nurse is organized, great about answering liver transplant questions and keeps him running on time. I honestly haven't dealt with anyone here that hasn't been great as well as helpful as possible. Unfortunately, the office has become busier and busier with the number of pre and post transplants. However, they continue to take great care of the patients and family.

I was very satified with my visit. I felt he was very thorough, even consulting with the radiologist on an uncertainty immediately. I felt he was honest and informative. I had many questions and he was patient while I asked them until I got a good understanding. I have and will continue to recommend him. If I needed to see someone again in this area I would return to him.

Care while in a hospital is okay. Will not call with status so don't expect communication. Once discharged the follow up is severely lacking. No returned calls by physician or staff. Poor follow up and no case management.
