I have a brain injury and cognitive delay. They won’t let my caregiver/ details person come back with me. I sit between two sheets of plexiglass. While he talks at me.

Gave me the WRONG diagnosis within a minute of walking into the office, which took me another 2 months to find a second opinion which got it correct. At least I can hear again. Very friendly staff, and their loyalty to him is top notch.

Dr. Fritsch saved our daughters life back in 1987. She had swallowed a dime size piece of plexiglass as she was crawling on our floor. We had just had a range delivered and this was a shipping bumper. We tried to stop her but she swallowed it so quickly that it was impossible. She actually choked and lost her air because it closed off her airway. It landed horizontal in her esophagus. I did the clean sweep and all other life saving measures. Nothing was working so I stuck my finger down her throat and pushed on the plexiglass. This opened her airway as it turned the plexiglass vertical. We took her to the er and was told we were over worried 1st time parents. Needless to say within 36 hours she was close to death as this object bore a hole in her esophagus. The ent was called in after a day of testing and us explaining what we thought it was. Nobody really believed that's what it could be. We were told she most likely passed the object. But sadly not. Anyways Dr Fritsch saved her life 100%.

I’m so very thankful for the care and treatment from all of the staff and Dr. Fritsch. I’ve been receiving treatment for my hearing loss due to Ramsey Hunt Syndrome for a few years. Dr. Fritsch’s care and attention to detail is comforting and assuring, which is hard to find sometimes with busy surgeons. The support staff is extremely kind and easy to work with.

Dr Fritsch has been my doctor from many years due to my ear issues. He always listens to my concerns and addresses them.

Our visit to Dr Fritsch was Jan 2023. My wife had pain and swelling in her cheek. During a visit to her dentist he felt a stone in her cheek and after taking an X-ray he saw a stone in the parotid saliva gland duct. After a visit to an ENT in Evansville Indiana and a CT scan, it was discovered there were two stones. The ENT referred her to Dr Fritsch who confirmed the stones. He scheduled a date for the procedure. He was able to do it from the inside of her mouth which only required 2 sutures. He was very responsive to questions and was very precise. After he completed the procedure, he contacted me to let me know everything went as planned. He also called the next day to check my wife to see that everything was ok. His office staff were very friendly and helpful during our visits. Dr Fritsch is very knowledgeable and we would recommend him.

Not very pleased with the performance of this doctor after the surgery. My father received a letter from AB stating that the unit placed in his head may be faulty. After sharing this 2020 letter with the doctor, we were told there is nothing with the letter and not to worry. We continued to worry as my father’s hearing didn’t improve. After years of tests and tweaking the cochlear still failed. We were told that we could no longer be able to visit the Meridian street office do to staffing problems with their audiologist, and would need to travel to Kokomo. In Kokomo, Dr Holt’s AB associate verified that the unit was in fact not functioning properly. So the last three years of my father’s life have been without adequate hearing. The last two months have been hell as he is in the hospital/rehab/assisted living without a functioning cochlear devise. If the doctor had investigated the implant when the letter was presented my father’s present medical situation would be far better. Shame on you, Dr Fritsch.

The surgeon did a great job on the surgery itself! However, he’s got terrible bedside manner and a terrible attitude. Krystal at the front desk is also extremely rude. It’s been an ordeal dealing with this office. They argued with my husband (he had the surgery) over writing a note for only 2 extra days off. Then he went to his follow up 12/7/22 and the doctor wrote the wrong name on the prescription for the ear drops. The name should’ve been Brandon Owens but he wrote Brandon Crowe, so I can’t even get the ear drops right now. I’m not saying don’t go here, because he is good with his work. Just don’t expect respect or empathy from anyone in the office.

One star says it all

I feel really, really lucky that I was referred to Dr. Fritsch. I had a parotid gland infection that kept coming back after antibiotics. The thought of having the gland removed and what that entailed really freaked me out. The parotid endoscopy that I had took care of needing to do that. I didn't have to stay in the hospital and the recovery was quick. If you ever find yourself in this position PLEASE discuss a parotid endoscopy with your physician or ENT and ask to he referred to Dr. Fritsch. It's worth it!! Dr. Fritsch is very knowledgeable and is a very caring doctor. He's very, very, very much in demand, but so worth it!!
