List of MIriam L. Ibrahim's Reviews
I went to this doc; referred to her after my doc passed away. I kept thinking maybe I needed more time to form an opinion and not compare to the doc I had had for over 15 years. Then I was notified she was no longer with AHN, which didn’t matter as I had decided I wasn’t returning to her.. She had the WORST bedside manner I’ve ever encountered; very condescending; very judgmental; superior demeanor; simply put, extremely rude! I was diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia many years ago and never had been treated this way. I have a wonderful doctor now. I would never return to this doc.
Absolutely appalling interaction and appointment. Was wanting to explore options that haven't been tried in the 20 years I have dealt with debilitating back pain (with several diagnosed condition). She asked about the many methods I had tried, then asked about medications. When I had mentioned I had been on opioids in the past, I was then treated differently; despite that being her question and not something I made a focus or intent. As a result, I was treated like a drug-seeker and mostly dismissed from that point on. Despite the fact, I have been in continuous pain for months, she made no effort beyond offering past, failed treatment options. Oh, and not to mention, she wanted to focus on "depression" and why I wouldn't want to take an antidepressant. Basically, trying to dismiss pain by citing it as a mental health issue.
Dr. Ibriham is so knowledgeable and helpful. I have other conditions that require me to take pain medication and she has never treated me horribly or like a “criminal”. I went for back and hip pain from spinal degeneration and she is now also treating me for migraines which I wasn’t even thinking of. She listens to me and when she gives shots she is so gentle and reassuring if you are nervous. Yes she is a Doctor who will tell you like it is but that is a VERY good thing. I say if you can’t handle the “Mama truth talk” than go somewhere else because she is the doctor who will absolutely let you know what you need to do to improve your situation immediately and I assume be a bit disappointed if you don’t do it because she knows what will happen to your quality of life and that’s what she cares deeply for in her soul. This doctor was meant to do this and born with a passion and I have seen her only twice and can tell all of that already. She’s a doctor who wants to help you.
Dr. Ibrahim listens and informs her patients of everything going on with them. She lets you know why your body is doing what’s it’s doing in terminology you can understand. She then helps you and makes sure you know how to continue helping yourself on a daily basis. I’m so glad Dr. Peterson referred me to her.
The average wait time was much longer than average. Her demeanor was to be blunt as possible. What they call terrible bed side manner. I found her to be condescending at times. This was not only in her office but a few times I have seen her in public at the register with the same attitude toward the employees. Why is this relevant because it shows an underlying dismissal of the other’s worth. I personally did not feel she was really interested in the cause or remedy of my back pain.
She is a very thorough physician takes interest in her patients and their needs she does not heard you through her office like most doctors do like you are a herd of cattle one of the greatest doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing. She listens to you and it's truly concerned about helping her patients. She is a very caring physician one of the few that is left most only care about the Mighty Dollar and getting you in and out as quick as possible she takes the time to address every issue you
Thank you for taking great care of my husband and myself- Dr Ibrahim cares about her patient
Dr Mariam Ibrahim is “BEST” Pain Management Physician I’ve ever seen. I’ve been coming for several years with pain in both my arms. She immediately diagnosed my problem and free of pain in my left arm. Now it’s my right arm and I’m heading back to see Dr. Ibrahim. She and the Staff are amazing and truly friendly. I drive from Indianapolis to Muncie because she such a caring and understanding physician. Also, she did a AWESOME job caring for my Mom. My Mom can be alittle cranky but Dr Ibrahim and her staff had lots patience and empathy. If you’re looking for a great Doctor visit Dr Ibrahim. From Michael W.
Have to leave between 1-2 hours after setting an appointment. Only good aspect is office secretary, Kathleen who is wonderful. Dr. Ibrahim is brist, uncaring, and tells patients how much stress she is in because of us. Not a happy woman. Not worth your time.
My daughter came for help with pain. You accusing her of doctor-shopping for meds. I came to her appointment. My anger has grown due to the way you treated her. She found a neurologist who believed her and did testing. She has several large cavernous hemangiomas affecting right nucleus, pons, brainstem, multiple gyrus sections, embolisms, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, has had several strokes, needs a hip arthroscopy. Wouldn't be as bad if caught earlier; it could now kill her. Gee thanks

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
