Failed to even read symptom letter from patient as evidenced by, treating concerns glibly and reduced symptoms to a laughing statement about a "BM" in front of other support staff, failed to ascertain the nature of patient's overriding complaints, e.g., severe abdominal pain due to adhesions with secondary symptoms of extreme shortness of breath, high blood pressure, hair dripping from the pain and back to back near syncopes, (pt hx of heart attack). Furthermore, when the physician recommended a modality of treatment this patient responded with a look of terror because the patient has experienced severe pain in the past from this treatment and the physician got angry and said, "Then what? what do you want to do? If you don't comply then the physician will lose interest." It was my understanding that we are to be partners in trying to find answers that will serve the patient. Instead there was most definitely a power differential being wielded toward the patient. Physician bias evident

My husband received a devastating diagnosis and we were sent to Dr. Vuppalanchi. He was amazing, the first thing he said to us was that he was truly sorry we were going through this. So many medical professionals overlook the patient’s feelings. He took the time to explain everything to us until we clearly understood. He made us feel that he truly cared for us. I would 100% recommend him.

The PA was amazing she has a very genuinely nice personality and took the time to answer my questions. However I felt rushed by the Dr. I seen all the reviews that were just the opposite,so maybe my race made the difference.

Dr. Vuppalanchi has been the best heptologist I've had out of 4! He is very helpful and knowledgeable. He listens to your concerns and truly helps you understand the diagnosis no matter how long it takes. He doesn't make you feel rushed. I honestly feel he cares about his patients, like he would treat his own family member. My appointments were on Fridays when I first saw him and he remembered why we wear RED on Fridays! I feel blessed to be able to go back to see him again!! I am looking forward to my appointment.

Dr. Vuppalanchi has been my doctor for oh about 17 years now. I have a autoimmunity disorder. I thank God every day when I wake up. For I know that he is the reason I can make this post today. It hasn't been a easy roa., but he's always been there for me. To help me not only with my liver, but he always helped me communication with my job. Being a 6'3" 235lb 42 year old man it's not always easy explaining why I have bad days and no energy. For all he has done for me I would just like to say thank you.

Dr. V has been my dr. for 3 years. He is personable, compassionate and very available for his patients. I highly recommend his care.

Dr. Vuppalanchi was very caring and listened to me....one of the best doctors I have seen!! Highly recommend !!!!!!

I've been having stomach problems for 8 months now. Dr. Vuppalanchi acted like I was wasting his time. He asked me what was wrong and as I would tell him he would cut me off and say, "Yeah, I read that in your file already." I had to wait over 1 hour in the waiting room. After getting called back to the office, I had to wait another 20-30 minutes. Dr. Vuppalanchi saw me maybe all of 5 minutes. Told me to eat a high fiber diet, gave me some samples, and ordered some blood work. I saw him 3 months ago and I have yet to hear anything about my blood work and my phone calls have not been returned. This guy is a poor excuse for a physician. He does not care about you, your symptoms, or making you feel better. Avoid at all costs.
