This was my 1st time going to doctor Nelson. I'd have surgery on my left ear and he did amazing. The staff is amazing at his office the hospital staff was amazing. I thank everybody especially Jade she is the sweetest ever.

Dr Nelson refused to provide any treatment for chronic problem that has been going on for years. Did not show any empathy towards patient’s concerns. Has blown off and lied to patient several times changing his wording to try to make problems sound less severe

I have had 2 cochlear implants surgeries preformed by Dr. Nelson, and the results have been excellent. He is very professional, and to the point. I don't I could have chosen a better doctor. In addition, the team at IU Medical School, and the audiologists at Riley are the best.

I've been seeing Dr. Nelson for about 3 years. I've always had a pleasant experience with his office and staff members. I've never had a long wait, and Dr. Nelson and his staff have always been efficient and professional.

Dr. Nelson is a very intelligent man. Thanks to one of the articles he wrote on spontaneous spinal fluid leaks from the ear I was able to self diagnose after several years. I went to Dr. Nelson and he performed brain surgery on me to fix the problem. I have told several people about him when it was something in his specialty. I would not trust anyone else to perform brain surgery on me.

We had a bad experience with Dr. Nelson’s audiologist when we came for a follow up hearing test. She was rude, unprofessional, and failed to do a Comprehensive Hearing Exam. And although the exam only last 5-6 minutes, with no bone or air test, she still charged us full price. The practice seemed focused on doing lucrative cochlear implant surgery and dismissive when patient was not a good candidate.

I have never been dismissed by a doctor before (2 visits) as he had no idea on how to address the problem. In one sense I appreciate not being led along with never ending doctor's bills; however, he did not make any recommendations to see someone else.

Dr.Nelson is amazing! We met and he had a surgical plan in place for me immediately. He knew exactly what was causing my issues, send me for testing the same day and further testing was done quickly. His staff was beyond incredible about communicating with me regarding testing, scheduling, results... I HIGHLY recommend them!
