List of Robert E Clutter's Reviews
Dr. Clutter is one of the best. He’s been my physician for nearly 20 years; always caring an thorough.
Dr Clutter is a good doctor. I’ve been seeing him for 15 years. He listens, cares, and does a good job. I don’t always like what he has to say as he’s not a pushover, but he is honest and caring.
I saw Dr. Clutter as Behrad has left Community Network. I came in to rule out strep and flu. I can barely talk due to my sore throat/losing my voice and he asked that I not whisper. Very clear he did not review my chart prior to our session. I have a serious bleeding condition and critical platelet count, and he had no idea. I told him I’m immunocompromised as a result of my bleeding disorder treatment-as in, I received a chemotherapy agent to destroy part of my immune system. Again, he had no idea and didn’t care. He also recommended I take aleeve, which is a big no no for any bleeding disorder and it can cause major bleeding- being I have a current critical platelet level, had I have followed that recommendation and took aleeve, I could have bled out and died. To end our lovely session, he dictated our note. Did not say “ hold on, I will dictate this encounter. Do you mind?”. He started talking to the computer while I awkwardly sat there and then with his back to me still dictating said I’m good to go. Did not look at me, escort me out- nothing.I would have left sooner but was still awaiting my results. I work in healthcare so I know this was not competent treatment and the bedside manner was horrid. I do not recommend him. I do think the nurses and front office staff were wonderful. That was the only positive experience about my visit- so I will give the credit where it’s due.
I was seen by Dr Robert Clutter yesterday. He asked several questions about my condition, accurately diagnosed my condition and sent me for testing an hour later. I was in good hands.
I saw Dr Clutter for what turned out to be the flu and tonsillitis. My throat was so swollen I couldn’t swallow my own spit, let alone drink water. I was having serious complications and he recommended cough drops. Later we put in an emergency call due to further complications and they recommended going to cvs and getting cough drops and chloraseptic throat spray. Long story short I ended up in the ER with severe dehydration and was in risk of kidney damage. Dr Clutter did not listen or appreciate the severity of my condition, and if I listened to his recommendation it could have resulted in life threatening implications. I highly discourage anybody from seeing him, or Dr Polly who I had a similar, although much less severe experience that resulted in continued paid due to miss diagnosis that was a direct result of not listening and/or appreciation conveyed symptoms.
Unfortunately, he should retire from general practice. I saw him today, only because my own doctor - Marina Behrad was not available. Once we meet and started to try to communicate I so badly wanted to get up and leave the exam room. I was not secure that he is competent. I did not trust in his care. Just so you know...no age discrimination here.....I am 70. NOT who I will see again.
Dr Clutter will over-medicate you. He will half sedate you! This guy needs to retire. He is overly confident and will soon kill one of his patient. Dude is greedy!
I've been seeing Dr. Clutter for 17 years. I have stayed with him because he is very thorough in his exams, takes the time to listen to me and always follows up to see how I'm doing or if I have any other issues. His entire staff is super nice and have always been caring and do their best to make me feel comfortable!I would recommend Dr. Clutter in a heartbeat!
I am sorry although he know his stuff, he is quick to refer to another doctor. He was helpful till he told me a story about a lady passing away in the waiting room, "he laughed". As if was a joke. This rather concern me! After 20 years of sticking with him, although my family hated his bedside manner, he released me for missing an appointment. It was my fault. He was so upset, "after 20+ years mind you", that he said my entire family was banned from the practice. The office manger handled this through. The man was a friend and I deserved some "slack" I think he was upset about my FMS and could not give me the meds. I needed. I will say again I missed an appoinment and I consider this my fault. I have heard and will say he does not have the best bedside manner. Many a nurse has left him as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
