Very thorough.

I have seen him once I had a procedure done, and he doesn't think there's anything wrong with me. I've been trying to call his office for over a week because I have severe nausea, he will not prescribe me anything and they do not get back with me and I have dropped 15 pounds in a week. I will never see this doctor again

Every time you call, they take a message and never call back. I had to call for almost a week daily for results they had but had done nothing with. All the while, I'm so sick I can't keep my head up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. They don't care about you or your health. Just care how many people they can squeeze in daily. Worst response and care ever given!

Dr. Siwiec helped me find the cause of my issues when no one else would. With his help, my quality of life has improved when I thought I was just going to have to deal with this problem for the rest of my life

On my first visit, he seemed very intrigued by my condition and my notes. He acted as though he was going to be very aggressive. After a couple of suggestions for treatment that didn't work, he was done. My calls always fell to his nurse. He never talked to me personally. She acted as though she had a degree in gastro. I'm paying to deal with him--not her! He also did no testing of any kind. How do you diagnose without any testing?? He basically wasted my time.

I met with Dr Siewic once. I felt he did not believe i had any issues . I felt he and his nurse were unresponsive to messages. My test results went unexplained. One if the tests was unnecessary because the dr failed to look at what medications I was on. My symptoms worsened over a 3 month period but was told to do nothing different. His nurse could not explain anything to me but yet Dr Siewic would not respond to the iuhealth portal messages. Because of this my issues may be more serious now. Please be your own advocate when seeing a dr such asvthis one.

I have been with IU for quite some time and had an awesome doctor, but she had left the practice so IU stuck me with Dr. Siwiec. For years I have tried to get him to understand what was going on with me. I kept becoming sicker and sicker and all I was told was take an antidepressant or deal with what I had. I went to Mayo clinic and they found something so huge and dangerous. This possibly could have been avoided, if only he would have took me serious. I do not recommend this doctor!

I had an endoscopy with Dr. Siwiec. I won't have an office visit. I don't want to with the decisions he's made over the phone. Before the procedure I made it clear to the nurse and also told the doctor verbally that I am bipolar, any decision with a med that is anxiety related I can't take without consulting with my psychiatrist. He put me on an antianxiety med over the phone. The nurse told me the wrong spelling of the medication also. Found out at the pharmacy. I'm Livid.
