List of Samuel Horton's Reviews
I have been seeing him for a couple years because he is the only sleep doc in my network. He is difficult to discuss your concerns with because you feel like he has other things he would rather be doing. He looks at you like a deer in headlights, is not very responsive to your concerns and is horrible at putting important info in your record. My second or third visit to him, he said to me, “I can’t do anything for you, I will see you in 3 months” it took two more visits, six months later before he suggested an updated sleep study.
Dr. Horton is a very professional and kind doctor, he prescribed me the perfect solution for my sleep apnea, it had been 5 years that use my CPAP machine and I sleep all night long. ????????????
I hated seeing him. He was not friendly or warm. He did not make me feel comfortable at all.
I have been visiting Dr Horton for 5 years now and he has helped me with my epilepsy and tiredness, changing my medication and recommending a sleep study that found I needed a cpap. Since I changed medicine and started using the cpap my life has changed for the better. I highly recommend him.
Do not waste your time. He is very inexperienced, unqualified, thick head and clueless Dr.
Dr Horton seemed very unqualified.
Always good experiences
Agree w/ previous comments: he looks at you like he thinks you're stupid and he's annoyed to be there...maybe he's actually THAT egotistical, and everyone is beneath him or maybe he just doesn't enjoy his job.
I met with Dr. Horton and explained my situation...I'm a nose snorer. He listened and then said he thought my issue was completely opposite. His diagnosis was after 2 minutes of talking to me. Obviously he thinks he knows everything and doesn't need to listen to the patient. I'd rather pay full price and not submit things to my insurance company than use him again. I would NEVER recommend him to another person and plan on telling my primary physician this when I see him.
I've had a lot of neurologists over the years and I would rank him and his office the worst. He seemed unequipped to deal with ataxia and when I needed at rollater, he refused to help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
