List of Scott A. Lintner's Reviews
Unfortunately my body requires orthopedic services from time to time. OrthoIndy provides excellent services. While I cannot compare them to any other provider, I have no incentive to. Prompt (even in afternoon appointments) and professional! Dr. Lintner has earned my trust!
I had a great experience with Dr. Lintner! He listened, explained and gave me options. He was understanding of my concerns and very reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Lintner.
Dr Lintner was great! Very attentive.
Listened intently to my concerns and the progression of my shoulder problem. Based on his experience and my ability/range of motion decided to err on the side of conservative treatment with Cortisone shots and a follow up. Laid my fear aside and was honest with a treatment plan based on present symptoms and pain. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending Dr Lintner and the staff at Ortho Indy.
He did several different surgeries for me. This last one was a shoulder replacement and like the others, the pain relief is already beginning less than two weeks after surgery! The man is a genius and very caring!
I am physically very active 57 yo patient with three knee surgeries (ACL replacement, 3 menicus tear repairs, torn ligaments and tendon). I visited Dr. Lintner for what I suspected was another menicus tear. He listened to my symptoms and history . On the first visit, based on my symptoms, history and physical condition order an MRI instead going through pain medication and hydrocortisone injections protocol. MRI displayed a menicus tear plus and not so good news of mild to moderate arthritis. He performed the surgery the following week. After the surgery, gave me the results and outcome from the surgery and what to expect. What I like about him, he answered all my questions, was straight forward did not minced words either and very efficient. He told me my prognosis from the surgery was good. I asked him if I can keep on running. He literally *sigh* and told me If I can tolerate the discomfort or pain but my knees will deterioate faster. I really appreciated his honesty.
I went to Dr. Lintner for a second opinion regarding rotator cuff surgery. I had three tears, but I also have Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus, which presented unique concerns for me regarding surgery and more importantly, recovery during physical therapy. Dr. Lintner listened to what I had to say. Instead of talking at me, he talked with me, providing me a “seat at the table” while discussing my own health. I knew I was at the right place. He explained my test results, offered his opinion on the best way to proceed, then answered any questions I had. At the end of the appointment, I committed to surgery and never looked back. He told me that my recovery could be very good if I had the patience to take it “long and slow”. He was right. With Dr. Lintner’s expertise and encouragement, along with two great physical therapists, the old me is back and it’s a wonderful feeling. I highly recommend him.
Had to go thru a second surgery to hopefully fix shoulder. What was done was not done to completion and missed that I had a complete labrum tear. Second surgery completed what i was told was wrong going into first surgery, And fixed labrum Second surgery 5 months later, Now have to endure 6 more months of rehab. Needless to say I went to a different surgeon
I’ve had a right shoulder surgery, a right knee surgery, and a left rotator cuff surgery by Dr. Scott Lintner and he did a brilliant job with all surgeries and follow ups. I wish he could do all of my ortho surgeries. He is an excellent doctor with a kind, caring and knowledgeable personality.
Dr Lintner is an extremely skilled, dedicated, caring and compassionate orthopedic physician. He truly cares about his patients and ensures they return to an active lifestyle as soon as possible.
