After waiting for over a month to see this doctor for the first time due to issues with atrial fibrillation, I received a phone call at 5:15 pm the day before my appointment telling me that he cannot see me in the afternoon for my appointment scheduled at 1:30 pm, but that I could see him in the morning. Unfortunately, I cannot drive myself at this time, and my wife had already scheduled the half day off in the afternoon, and there is just no way for me to get there. Why do doctors always think that patients can drop everything at a moments notice to change their scheduled appointments? If I had received this call a week ago I would have been able to work it out, but a day before at 5:15 pm?!?! Also, the office put me 'on hold' while I was speaking with them to get me to a nurse to see if I could see someone else in the office, but the hold was just silence for 10 minutes. And of course when I called back I get the answering service because they closed at 4:30 pm! Also, specialists seem to be worse than primary care physicians with screwing around with patient appointments, and by extension, patient health. So yes, I'm going to do whatever I need to in order to see someone soon, even if it is Dr. Suzuki, but you better believe I'm looking for someone else. What a bunch of BS - and I can only hope that I don't have a stroke or worse with the atrial fibrillation that I told them happens at least once a day! Just unacceptable in my opinion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
